Classical Circle A great classical music venue in Second Life. Everybody is welcome to come and enjoy the music, dancing and conversation.

This is the page for the Classical Circle Ballroom - an intimate and friendly venue for those of us in Second Life who love classical music. Formal dress is preferred, but not essential. There is a classical stream playing all the time, but there are also regular programmes on Wednesday and Friday evenings, 5.00 - 7.00pm SLT. Please come to Umber, take the teleport and join us. Selador you may no longer be with us, but today is still the day of your birth and I think it would be appropriate to think of all the things you gave to this world. Your love of fiction, particularly science fiction, and your own contribution to that as an author; your love of music, particularly classical music, and (again) your own contribution to that as a musician and composer. Your openness and ability to talk to almost anyone without judgment.
I think I speak for everyone who knew you when I say we miss you greatly. I for one think about you every day and find my life is darker without you in it.
You are sadly missed but never forgotten. And I think that's a sign of a life well lived.

Happy New Year to you all.

We've been rather quiet here since Selador's passing. That has been partly as a mark of respect but also due to our own grief.

However, we would like to remind you that, in order to keep the music going, both Idyll Quandry and Kinich Tomsen currently DJ classical sets every 4th Saturday at Tessa's. The next classical program there will be by Idyll Quandry on Saturday, January 28th. We will post more details closer to the event and would love to see some of you there.
