I will never forget the impact that Richard Concepcion and his Rapid T. Rabbit series has given me, and some others...
Media, the Internet, even Life in its own way is but a highway...It could be a blessing...or it could be a curse if you let it...
Richard Concepcion may be dead, but his idea of kid/family-friendly furry material can still be a good saving for others in local communities. It's not like Fred Rogers where his legacy was spread to the world wherever available...but with RTR and Friends, it was locally bound and for one of the first public access kid-friendly furry shows to exist, the truth is...no one ever saw anything like it when it started in '83.
Maybe that's why some aspects of furry community are so familiar with Rapid T. Rabbit, one way or another they have known about this show and they wanted to spread having fun with others.
It'd be better to see the furry community to be within local boundaries since not everyone is able to see eye to eye, which is what Rich was doing to the very end, for that I respect it well.
Either way, Rapid T. Rabbit and Friends was the founding block for the coming furry community, better or worse, a mixed bag of its own...Anybody out there might watch these videos and understand why some parts of furry culture isn't all bad....as long as our hearts are in happiness and friendship, Kindred-Costumes still could work out!

Itty Bitty Heartbeats...what makes an obscure series of direct to video cartoons from the 2000s really special for anyone when it comes to caring and kindness, "doing things from the heart" as it were?
Just because Care Bears and all these other franchises has similar messages brought forth doesn't mean to be number one. When I think of Itty Bitty Heartbeats, I think of a series that, while obscure for some people, still tried to do a good job at delivering messages of kindness and caring helping people out in various ways. I look at the characters and I get Fisher-Price Little People vibes taken to a magnified picturesque quality that PBS Kids could've had the chance to air here, right alongside Fisher-Price/Egmont's Little People. People may dream, but it warms my heart to know there are still people honoring an obscure legacy that once flourished, and what have you...
What do you think about this obscure childhood gem from 2000s?
Please let me know in comments down below if you think it was a flop or if it's something that could've gone hand in hand with other franchises, such as Care Bears or Fisher-Price's Little People. Thanks!

"As the years go by, and things become complex for children, parents, and the community alike, it's better to push people forward in happiness, compassion, peace, empathy, and friendship by remembering the legacies of shows that made kids and parents happy when they can! All that we need to do is hold on tight to the dreams, for what's accomplished is the dream before waking up in the morning"

Outfits & clothing for various children’s party themes and stage shows (American Frontier/Wild West/Tall Tale, Princess/Fairy Tale, Train Conductor/Engineer)
Creative liberty and control is very much preferred to avoid legal consequences of copyright. For instance, certain aspects and designs of characters would be altered to compute with reference sources as mentioned above.
While we’re primarily all about parties, etc. for kids with the American Frontier in mind, I also wanted to be open-minded and consider other kids’ interests in what they like for party themes, and more.
The following bulleted list summarizes what kind of events shall be planned for Kindred Costumes, both within short-term and long-term, relatively:
∙ Providing party favors, treat bags, as well as engaging costume entertainment experiences for children’s parties.
∙ Development of business cards and flyers
∙ Promote my business through school districts, in order to do that, we have to ask for permission from the superintendent of the school district to give the green light
∙ Promote my business through libraries, though we also ask for permission from the workers there if it’s good to do so.
∙ Providing photo opportunities, meet and greet opportunities, sing-along opportunities, etc. for kid-friendly festivals
∙ We hope to expand our horizons in the future by including stage-based performances with full suit characters, inspired by other live entertainment performances including kid-friendly reenactments, mostly about tall and/or fairy tale reenactments, historical reenactments (Old West and American Frontier stories, for example), or performances/reenactments with multiple characters in other stories and situations
∙ We plan to expand into the music developing scene, and hope to offer a selection of kid-friendly music available for digital purchase
∙ We aim to expand our collection of classic children’s songs and stories into book form as well (Preferably hardcover or paperback, whichever suits best)
∙ We want to create new illustrations, be it in coloring/activity books or separate pieces of art (created by either us or with collaboration by other artists) that can be sold online for kids and parents to download and use!

Other ideas will become clear when they do, but until then let us know if you have parties, events, or even volunteering/costume crafting that you want to share with me, and we'll arrange and make it happen!

Thank you for your consideration!
