We had the opportunity to support at their annual sustainability dinner last month and felt inspired by the work they do, the real impact they’ve made, and their goals for the future. Sign us up as imperfect environmentalists - I’m very much looking forward to learning about creating sustainable events as part of my upcoming MPI CMM coursework and implementing ideas in our 2025 events and beyond. 🌎💚

This stage design we dreamt up for ’s annual gala is featured on ’s May roundup of cool event ideas 🙌! The supersized collage featured 9 suspended portraits of mothers and children from the organization’s programs around the world. Impactful, compelling, dimensional storytelling. So proud of our team, so thankful for the opportunity to design + create, and so grateful for ’s help in bringing the concept to life! ✨

New news!! JME is rolling out a new event activation service! We’re ready to bring live heat pressing to your event, and to show you what we can do, we’ll be popping up at our friends’ shop on Saturday, April 27th from 10 am - 2 pm. Come on by!

We’ve created the cutest Mama & Mini merch to showcase our craft - you pick the items and graphics, and we’ll heatpress them live at the pop up. Pick from sweatshirts, tees, totes and pouches - so many different potential creations, and just in time to shop for Mother’s Day!

All graphics designed in house by creative mama Trisha Brill - 👀 a few we are wearing with our minis. Trisha and Luna are in the collegiate MAMA and MINI sweatshirts - you’ll have to see the puff vinyl in action - it’s so cool!

As JME has grown and evolved, we haven’t taken on as many weddings as we did in the past. And when we do, it’s because we feel like the couple and we are aligned in our ideas and expectations - we just vibe! We definitely did with L&A! Their wedding was our final one of 2023, and it was just magical. Soft, romantic florals with a pop of that beautiful Marsala , magical twinkly lights , dreamy little venue , the most authentic captures by , and the best bride and groom - the winning-est combo 💫!

I don’t think we’ve posted any first looks in a while - Liz and Adam’s was so sweet. And even more special was the first look they did with their toddler 🥺🥰!! The is such a magical setting and felt so uniquely Liz and Adam. Can’t wait to share more stunning images captured by from one of our favorite weddings (and couples!!) of 2023.

One of our favorite events last year - such a visually stunning celebration that was such a joy to be part of. We had so much fun designing the details with our clients, playing with vibrant colors and textures and bringing it all to life, seeing everyone in their beautiful Indian attire, experiencing the energy of Bollywood choreography and taking in all the wonderful flavors in the Indian foods, cocktails, and dessert - treats for all the senses!!

Could there have been a more radiant, incredible bride? Carrie is forever a superstar in my eyes.

Her wedding day experience was...not perfect (is an understatement). The day from Carrie’s POV...the morning of her wedding, she started feeling unwell. She could barely sit up straight and at one point, she had an IV in her arm. Her makeup artist Nicole did her makeup while Carrie was laying down. At one point, we weren’t sure if we could get her down the aisle for the ceremony!

Her crew came through hard for her though - her hubby, bridesmaids, family, and vendors did everything they could to get our girl back on her feet, be her hype squad, and allow her to enjoy as much of her special day as possible. All I can say is, what a DREAM TEAM and a ROCKSTAR BRIDE - I am forever their fan 🤩.

You couldn’t tell from these beautiful images captured by (or even in person as a guest!) what was happening behind the scenes and how crazy of a day it was. Thankfully, Carrie was back to her normal self by the time the reception began. I’ve never been more thrilled to see a bride on the dance floor having a blast!

Cheers to rolling with the punches and finding joy even when sh*t hits the fan! 🤍🤍 Can’t wait to share more from this wedding.

Feels like I’ve just come out of a haze. The team and I spent the last few weeks doubled down on event after event, wrapping up with the biggest one of the year (5 day install!!). No matter how large or small the event is, every little detail matters and contributes to the overall guest experience. And I think Bree and Eddie’s wedding really embodies that idea.

It was such a thoughtfully curated experience and celebration, and these are some of my favorite things from their day in no particular order - Mariachi!! The amazing colors and textures in the floral and event design - such a visual treat! Their DIY seating chart with VINYLS - this has got to be the best one I’ve seen in a long time! Illustrations they made of each guest that doubled as their placecards and favors - so creative and unique! Their DIY tablescape - so uniquely them. Delish craft cocktails garnished with B+E branded citrus peels🔥! KOGI - burgers, tacos, burritos, quesadillas along with LA shaped pretzels - every which one so yummyand so LA.

How lucky are we to call this work? Feeling extra grateful this holiday season.
