I hope here, you will see my passion for floral displays as you start to imagine your next event with inspiring floral work. 15 years in the event co-ordinating industry led me to my love of florals and to my training in the perfect city - London. Today, I offer floral serves to all areas in the events industry. I love the challenge brought to me by corporate installations and hotel contracts. But nothing beats the feeling when delivering a gorgeous hand tied bouquet to someone you care for.

CONTAINER SALE...
Everything must go! I'll be posting a few items each day. A couple of things to note:
1. As stock is at approx. 1/3 of it's original cost - total quantity of individual item must be taken. ie: if there are Qty 12 x blue vases you have to purchase all 12.
2. First come first serve. Payment via EFT secures sale.
3. Items must be collected from the container in Parktown North.
4. Collection date Sunday 26th Feb.
5. Stock cannot be held without payment.
6. Items are either brand new, used once or in excellent condition.

Hello from Hong Kong everyone!
Last year I posted that I was selling all of my stock and the 12m container it was stored. After a site visit and months of negotiating a gentleman agreed to take the entire inventory incl. the container. He then disappeared leaving me back at square one just after I had emigrated. Super frustrating. All this to say that I will be back in SA next week for a couple of days so that I can open up the container and sell.

PLEASE NOTE*** Below is how I came to the asking price for each item ensuring the prices are very low.
Cost at time of purchase -less- 15%VAT -less- transport/delivery charges the item may have incurred -less- 50%.

80% of the stock is only used once and in excellent condition and about 10% is still brand new so it's a great opportunity! The container which is also for sale is in Parktown North, Jhb. There are hundreds of items - here are just a handful.

Texture is everything in floral arranging even in simple floral styling as you can see here. Don’t be afraid to mix unexpected elements. I’m forever collecting weird bits of foliage, seeds, fruit, dried twigs and other even weirder things abs pairing them with flowers you expect to see.

Anything goes really and remember all that matters is that YOU love it 💛

More from the shoot with . I really enjoyed creating these shots much like I loved making those elaborate head pieces for the Wanderland Collective launch. It makes me want to become a milliner or a jewellery designer.

Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend. We spent ours at Oakland’s Farm and I cannot rave more about it. I’ll put some pictures in my stories. I just have to share how magical that place is. ✨

2021 Mourvèdre Rosé from - well of course it was the official rosé of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2021.

We aren't great at social media at the best of times that's for sure and the last 12 months have made it even harder for us to keep active on our platforms. Sorry 🙈

If we're honest, we've all been feeling rather glum as we've worked with clients who've had to postpone or cancel their weddings and events time and again. (Karen has had to postpone her own wedding twice.). The uncertainty of nearly everything has been staggering and left a lot of us feeling numb and disillusioned.

It has been impossible to plan anything, especially our flower school programme which has been so disappointing for you all (and us 😞). We'd like to thank you all for showing such an incredible amount of interest and support for our floristry training. We so appreciate your patience and understanding every time we have to cancel.

But we can't stay glum forever and we truly hope that this is our last lockdown so that we can start offering our courses again. In the meantime we thought we'd keep things pretty on our feed with a steady stream of
gorgeous blooms, share their names and a little about each one. This is a very popular (and a little pricey) flower called a ranunculus. More specifically Ranunculus asiaticus 'CLONI SUCCESS HANOI' (Persian Buttercup).

It is an Italian ranunculus and is unique because it's bulbs are propagated in a lab. They bloom in cold climates in early-mid summer (planted in spring) or in early-mid spring in milder climates (planted in fall).

The bulbs, correctly called corms have claws on the bottom and the corm size predicts the number of blooms it will have. A jumbo corm will produce up to 35 flowers!

They're romantic, delicate and our most requested bloom next to the peony.

7 years ago today I moved to South Africa and these two profoundly talented woman have been with me from that day every step of the way.

Their generosity of spirit, friendship and support formed the foundation of my business. They raised me up and shared their knowledge willingly. They never let go and backed me all the way.

I will forever be indebted to you both and and I know that we have many wonderful adventures ahead.

So much 💗 for these magnificent women.

We had the best day creating this suspended design. Getting to grips with mechanics, depth, texture and balance.
Kendall from soon learnt what it meant to be tallest in the class.
