I'm really digging this change into more stationery design & pressing. This side project of learning something new has really blossomed, and it just brings me an insane amount of joy.

I've been having such a fun time making playful placecards in the last few months. Although I 100% do not recommend letterpressing place cards, I broke my own rule just this once! And only because it was for such a SMALL group of amazing people!

For Dinner No. 24 I was asked to create stationery inspired by throughlines, a connection of elements or stories, or themes. The inspo provided by @createdinners consisted of Matisse paintings La Danse and other whimsical imagery. My immediate thought was to create a menu that, when all put together they would connect through a pattern. Personally, I felt the stationery fit so perfectly with what everyone else brought to the space. The florals by @studiojoness! The space provided by @peerspace, questions, and activities prepared by @asparaguys & @rayna.ll, which really connected us all with our past, present, and future, and each other. And the dinner and bomb dri ks by @sarbear390 @jennych00 and @dirt_martini_ But my fav part was that we were all on the same page without even meeting once before!
