It's a New Year and hopefully a good one for everyone 🥰 it's not quite been the start of the year I expected but more of that to come.

Over the last week I've been busy, probably like many others, decluttering our home and deciding what could do with a fresh look this year, besides me that is!

I've also decided that this is the year I need to learn something new so watch out soon because I'll be sharing whatever I do with you all, I might even invite you along to join me! 🥰

Thought I’d have a go at making the sausage dog today, after being interrupted by many cold salesy calls, chasing my bins around the road and collecting a sick child from school I seem to have just a white felt ball 😂😂😂😂

Need something to do to keep the Rebels busy on a wet and miserable Sunday?? Get the colours out and get them busy! 😍🎨

🎄🎄🎄 IT’S COMPETITION TIME! 🎄🎄🎄

We’re planning on having a calendar made for next year but we can’t use our boring artwork, we need our Little Rebels to help!
All they need to do is pick a month and produce a painting or drawing to represent that month, the brighter the colours the better please!

To enter email a photo of the finished work to [email protected] including their name, age and the month they’ve chosen, keep the original work, we’ll need them for printing!

Competition closes on Friday 17th November so get the pens out this weekend!! 😍🎨

🔴 FINALLY IT’S TIME FOR ‘GROWN UP REBEL’ WORKSHOPS! Don’t just watch other people on Tik Tok making things, come and have a go yourself…. Wine, crafts and a good chat, what more could anyone want?!

🔴 LITTLE REBELS BIRTHDAY PARTIES! They’re back with a dedicated party room and loads of new and exciting party ideas. From picking the theme to blowing out the candles your Little Rebel will have a party designed just for them!

🔴 MINI REBELS! Again, something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, it’s never too early to get them crafty! You’ll be able to drop in and have a brew while your Mini Rebel makes a masterpiece to take home 😁

🔴 CRAFT YOUR WEDDING! We’ve all seen them, the perfect looking Instagram weddings with a price tag bigger than my first house! Why not make your wedding as individual as you by getting crafty with your bridesmaids and friends?

🔴 DESIGN YOUR HOME! Again, something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I’m going back to my roots with workshops which will help you to style and plan your home in your own individual way.

🔴 CRAFTERNOONS! When there’s not much going on but you fancy getting out what better way to spend a couple of hours than by getting creative while having a chat and a brew?

We’ve got lots of plans and more ideas to come, we can’t wait to see you all soon 😍🎨

🤩🤩🤩 EXCITING NEWS! 🤩🤩🤩

I always said when I closed my last shop that it would be the last time, well. what can I say?? I missed you all!!

After deciding that I needed to 'go out to work' rather than working from home I started looking for an office but didn't have to look far for the perfect place! Have you guessed where it is yet?

Not only have I got office space but we've got a fab space for hosting Little Rebels parties and workshops, even better we've got loads more space for adults workshops too!!

I've been busy working on new stuff with Ella who has spent the last month bombarding me with her ideas, all I can say is, I'm amazed and I hope you will be when you see them.

We're not sure yet on an opening day but we'll keep you all updated and share what's happening for you all to see, 2024 is going to be a very busy year!

🎄CHRISTMAS NEWS FROM REBEL HQ! 🎄 After seeing a bit of snow yesterday and a visit to Lakeland in Windermere for Christmas goodies we’re getting excited now at Rebel HQ! In fact we’re getting so excited I’ve decided to face my biggest fear…. Appearing on camera!! Starting tomorrow we’ll be sharing with you our Christmas preparations, from decorating our home to wrapping pressies and making Granny’s Irish Cream (which is delicious🥰) and lots of other things. We’re not experts but we love to have fun and try new things in our own way so why not join us every day and if you’ve got something you would like to see us make or do comment below! 🥰🎨🎄

When it’s miserable outside there’s only one thing to do….. start creating Christmas for our Rebels both little and grown up! 😍🎨🎄

The Story So Far...

Well where do I start? From a young age I’ve always enjoyed messing around with paint, fabrics and any other bits to see what I can create. I love to think different and come up with something new from something old or not wanted.

After running my business in Barrow town centre for a few years I became increasingly aware that many of my customers and other people I met felt the same but never made time to get creative as life always gets in the way and there was always something stopping them from just having a go!

A couple of years ago we started to run children art and craft workshops which have proved to be very popular with our customers as it not only gives them the chance for a couple of hours off and their children to enjoy making new friends and doing something independently but it also means that we clean up the glitter and mess at the end of the day!

This year (2019) we’ve decided here at Rebel to have a change around and our workshops for both children and adults will be our main focus. Not only will we be offering more workshops at our premises but we now go into schools and other venues to provide Creative Workshops when needed. We’re really excited about the changes we’re making and can’t wait to get out and about more on a Rebel Roadtrip where we’ll hopefully meet even more fellow Rebels!
