I first met Sydney when I was in high school. Ever since I've known her, she has been such a creative and artistic individual and I knew she would be going places in life. Fast forward a few years later, and she stumbles across Stephen Luther, the perfect match for her. From their shared passion for the arts to their vibrant personalities and contagious smiles, it's evident that they were meant to be together! The most exciting part of their reception day? It snowed! Sydney absolutely LOVES the cold weather, and knew she wanted to have a winter wedding, so I know that she was even more thrilled to have some snow as well. Words cannot even begin to express just how truly wonderful this day was. Although the weather was a tad chilly, these two, along with their sweet friends and family, managed to throw an incredible celebration. If you look up "bliss" in the dictionary, you'd find a photo of Sabrina and Braden. Even with all the stress a wedding day can bring, these two were SO relaxed & ready to celebrate, radiating such happiness and joy to everyone around them. Sabrina kept us all laughing with her 'awkward staring at the camera' moments, so it felt necessary to include at least one of her [many] bloopers in their film. "When you love what you have, you have everything you need" and these two have everything they need: a beautiful family & a wonderful day to celebrate it. All day, the forecast was showing less than 10% rain - 5 minutes before the ceremony began, dark clouds rolled in & everyone was panicking, hoping for the best. With the beautiful ceremony shortened a bit for potential weather, everyone made it inside just moments before the rain finally broke loose - almost like it was waiting for the right moment. We were able to sneak out for some brief bride & groom portraits while the rain was finishing, and these two were no match for the weather - in and out with some stunning shots to remember the day! Kelsey and Jordan have such a sweet love story, and such a pure sense of humor combined that it wasn't hard to have a great day celebrating these two. They drove all the way down from Michigan with their friends and family to be welcomed by the brutal TN Summer heat, but these folks hung in there like champs to celebrate their love. We had been watching the rainy weather all day, and while on the way to the ceremony venue, the sky opened up to give us the perfect setting for a beautiful wedding. There’s no fear when you’re having fun, and let me be the first to say- these two were such a blast from the get-go. They had a supportive & lively group of friends and family there celebrating such a wonderful evening.
