Graduating from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, Nicole prides herself on her ability to adapt to every client’s unique style and needs. Nicole has been in the events industry for 8 years picking up an array of skills such as wedding officiating, brand ambassador, hotel banquets, venue management, event coordinating, and event design. She’s

never met a spreadsheet she didn’t love. She can often be found binge listening to podcasts or Fleetwood Mac. To balance herself out she invests in yoga and completed her Yoga Teacher Training in November of 2019. Nicole comes from a long line of incredible women that value a good meal, hearty discussion, fine china, and a well-set table.

I enjoy bonding with the groom during those few minutes we are all lined up before that *BIG* moment. It’s raw, vulnerable, electrifying... the list goes on.

Then (typically) in just a few short moments I get to witness them completely melt as they see the love of their life wall toward them.

It’s the goosebumps moments for me, y’all 👋🏼

Table Topics..fostering healthier communication

1.) Establish a set “table topics” routine (frequency, timeframe, location).
These can vary slightly but consistency is delicious when approaching big conversations. We did once a week for a few months. We’ve cut back to once a month for the BIG convos, with the option to “call a meeting” if needed.

2.) Sit Down & Openly Discuss
What’s been working? What’s not been working? Are we loving our food choices? Are we sticking to budget? Do we need to decide on a big purchase?

3.) Reconnect with Fun
Prior to the meeting, select a fun activity to do together later on that day.

Free ideas are taking a walk in a park, having a picnic, or taking pics at local murals. If you’re making a date night out of it you can go to dinner, play mini golf, or grab dessert somewhere yummy.

Intimacy doesnt have to feel inauthentic, heavily planned, or expensive. Dont let these imaginary barriers stop you from simple acts of love! Small (seemingly mundane) things can go a long way. Try bringing morning coffee, silly slow dancing just cause, brush your partners hair, create an epic bath environment, rub their feet after a tiresome day, or give em a scalp massage. Each gesture takes less than ten minutes, is free, and says, “I love you” in a way you might not have said in a while.
