Janet’s Brown Ale is the tribute to Mike “Tasty” McDole, one of the most prolific (and well-known) homebrewers in the world and friend to so many in the industry.

Janet’s Brown Ale was an open-source recipe he provided to brewers at all levels and it has been reproduced all over the world.

This beer features Cascade and Centennial hops with chocolate and light caramel malts which combine for a toasty and chocolate-like malt body dry hopped with American hops for an elevated hop aroma.

We miss you every day, Tasty. Hope you and Janet are somewhere together enjoying a tasty beverage.

WHO’S THE BEST GIRL??? We’ve missed our four-legged regulars as much as we’ve missed all y’all! One thing we miss is our Pup of the Month Club every month. We love calling out all the best boys and girls, and Daisy is one of the BEST of the best. Her hoomans are pretty rad too. All the MilkBones this month to Miss Daisy Belle for being such a good big sister to a new (and very obnoxious) little brother. We love you Daisy. You are our Pup of the Month this month!

We love our friends at The Good Hop ❤️ 🍻

Nights like tonight remind us of how amazing our Oakland community is. This week we were given some mouthwatering ribs from GT BAKES BBQ and some killer BBQ sauce from Eastoaklandsmoke and it was a marriage made in heaven! Threw together a small dinner in the backyard with friends. Good beer, good food, good friends. It’s the little things these days, and we’re taking a moment to appreciate our little tribe. ♥️ Thanks to all of the small businesses hustling to stay alive out there right now. We are better together.

Hey you, want some ribs and chicken, ready to go?

We've got a smattering of full chickens and racks of ribs. Brined, rubbed and smoked and all ready to go for delicious BBQ at home. We smoke our chicken with applewood and the ribs with hickory.

$15 for a full chicken and $25 for a full rack of ribs. If you've ever had our BBQ you know what a square deal that is.
