It's the boss' birthday, today -- and he said that we can all take the day off! Of course, we're normally closed on Mondays anyway, but, what a guy! 😜

What first started as a hobby and a passion for over 25 years ago has ultimately carried us to thousands of special events across 12 different states. We couldn't be more honored to be a part of so many of our clients - and their guests - memories, and to immortalize the history of these classic cars in photo and video forever. Preserving history, and using it to make memories for YOU is our passion -- and these days, though we're a lot bigger than just one person, we're proud to still have our original Founder leading the way.

13 years ago today, we impulse-bought "Jack", our 1952 Buick Eight, at the world's largest carshow in Hershey, PA -- and drove him 930 miles home to begin a career making memories! Named for our founder's grandfather who had a virtually-identical car new, "Jack" is still one of our most popular cars, sporting a handsome black-and-chrome look that just says Vintage Americana.

We raised over $6,000 and a truckload of supplies yesterday alone! CAN YOU HELP?

1️⃣ Monetary donations are accepted for the relief effort at bit.ly/ncrelief .

2️⃣ IF YOU'RE IN CENTRAL ALABAMA, we are COLLECTING DONATIONS at Design Productions, LLC Tuesday 10/1, Wednesday 10/2, and Thursday 10/3, from 8:30 AM until 5PM. 280 Snow Dr #12, Homewood, AL 35209. The following items are specifically needed:

• Bottled water
• Food ready to eat without heating or cooking (things like protein bars are great)
• Baby items, including diapers and formula
• Feminine Hygiene products
• Dry Pet food
• First aid supplies, including chewable Benadryl, large bandages, rubbing alcohol, etc.

We will be sending trucks along with Design Productions to WNC on Friday, 10/4. Our founder, James Coats is from WNC, and is personally coordinating with the task force in McDowell County, NC. We will make sure these items and funds get where they need to go.

Our Carolinas Collection, and founder James & Kirsten's NC home and family came through Hurricane Helene with only minor damage. Just 10-15 miles away, however, folks were not as fortunate. The situation in the region is indescribable. We are currently organizing a truck and trailer of disaster relief supplies from our Birmingham location to the Carolinas. Our hearts go out to all of those affected, and our most sincere thanks to those who are working the front lines.

One question we get frequently asked is "are these old cars reliable -- and what happens if the car we selected has a problem?"

Well, since we perform virtually all of our maintenance in-house (and therefore aren't beholden to the schedule of an outside mechanic's shop), AND since we stock literally tens of thousands of dollars worth of spare parts, this is very unlikely. But on the rare occasion that we can't fix an issue by Saturday, we lean on the fact that we offer a selection of over 30 different classic cars!

Take it from Olivia and Michael, who rented a white Rolls-Royce from us which did have a rare mechanical issue, the week of their wedding: 📣 "They seamlessly provided a beautiful and nearly identical Rolls-Royce for us as an alternative. I couldn't have been happier!"
