There are so many hidden gems in Kinsale. However delighted to have curated a unique experience upstairs & for our guests today. Always an absolute delight to work with, the upstairs is such a hidden gem if you when not been. Add in some pre & post drinks on the balcony on a sunny day. The perfect Kinsale experience 🙌

For me, I love this weekend in Kinsale! Highly recommend to make a weekend of it and just wander down Main Street, enjoying all the foodie delights. Finish at the greyhound for a few sun pints and on for a lovely walk on Sicily up to the Bulman! What a nice day out in Kinsale 😊

Sometimes you have these angels that come into your life. For anyone who knows me, aupairs are such a critical part of my life as I raise Hugo so I can balance work, travel and life. We have travelled and seen so much in the past few months. It’s been such an adventure. Having the right person who really cares, loves Hugo and my dogs nearly as much as me, a great attitude and a joy to be around as you live in the same house is very rare. We have been so lucky ☘️ We are so sad to see you leave but excited for your next country travel adventure. We will miss you Thank you so much Freya ❤️
*hard shoes to fill but if you think you know someone who would like to join us for a month or two in the South of France from end of April for plenty of adventures and the opportunity to learn French but have the comfort of English speaking, DM me. 😄

Aix-en Provence, if you haven’t been. Put it on your list of places to go. I feel I have visited the majority of the South of France this year and by far and hands down, Aix is my favourite city. It really is a little Paris. Hugo and the pack love it it too. Kinsale will always be my favourite place though ❤️

I met this most loveliest Lebanese girl today in Antibes. We started speaking about Gaza and she highlighted to me that it’s now happening for them in Lebanon. The Sadness in her eyes. Then she sparked up and she said thank you for talking about it and bringing it up, no one here seems to care… as we look around at the multi billion yachts and smell of massive wealth and greed. Then she laughed and said that lady is amazing who is so supportive , and the guy next to her with the funny hair. It made us both laugh. 😊Very proud to be Irish. ❤️ 🇵🇸

Happy Valentine’s Day. ❤️
Very thankful especially in the world we live in today to have my little valentines especially Hugo the boss! He has us all in line. So what would be my ideal day be in Kinsale today and where would I recommend to go. Hmmm If the weather was great, I would have a completely different day planned but instead my top choices would be chill out and wander start with a coffee & croissant either in Seeds, Gourmet Pantry, Post House or Kokos OR sit down relax and have brekkie (love the eggs in the glass) at the Flying poet. Ask for extra sourdough to soak it’s yummy. Love their calm classical music in the background and grab some books and relax. Another good one is Lemon leaf and and blue haven for big breakfasts and plenty of choice and a cosy feel. Since weather not great plan lunch already! Only messing plenty to do… loads of wonderful shops and the fab new library is worth a visit. Lunch, depending on time you have I would say FoodU for quick and delicious & Leonas for more leisurely. (food is amazing and so understated - make sure you order a side of paprika fries and coleslaw) I also love the privacy of the Trident. Hide away in the corner or the little hidden alcove in the Bluehaven if you have work to do. Dinner: Bruno’s / Manfridays or Fishy. I also really like Bia. Lisa is such a lovely host and really welcoming. Super relaxed vibe. Then follow on to Prims such a gem of a place then Daltons and onto some live music at Kitty’s or the Blue haven past 8. Enjoy! (All based on being open today, maybe Prims not.)❤️

I get asked a lot where are my favourite places to eat are in Kinsale. The list is endless but I have shortlisted it and added to it my favourite “corners” of Kinsale. I wish I remember the table numbers. These are my top faves……………1. Bruno’s: Main Street Corner bar. Hands down my fav. Start with a gls of bubbles and end with a gls of bubbles 😂burrata to start & Caramelised Onion Pizza if on special. End with the tiramisu. It’s yum! 2. Black Pig: I love the table in the corner by the fire area or bar Super cosy.A graham beck (bubbles)/ prawns/ monkfish/ tomato salad/ big cheese plate and the Paddy NZSauv / St Francis: Outside table to the right. The whole menu is to die for. Petnat bubbles i3. Blueroom: I love the balcony area of the blue room. Grab a few plates, blanket and enjoy the sunset. 4. Supper Club: corner bar in Supper club. Again another mix and match of appetisers and cocktails. 5. Manfridays for a relaxing 3 course set menu. Back room table left of fire. It’s a treat! artist

For all those bridezella’s coming to Kinsale! A whole new range of bridal stores popped up in Kinsale today! Literally popped up to be gone tomorrow. Are we the going be the wedding and hen capital of Ireland soon? Well think so after spending the day filming in Kinsale 👏 Can’t wait to see it. What a great hustle and bustle around today.

Little Evie. No words can describe the love & loss I feel for this little soul who passed peacefully yesterday. I know she is a dog but I now understand the saying Grief is what you pay for love. This little Angel arrived aged 10 and lived to a good 15.5years. Every year I would think was the last constantly surprised me. I fostered her aged 10 as she was dumped as a puppy breeder when she was no used and couldn’t let her go. She was my angel, protector, always there watching me. I miss her energy and soul and calmness. She was the calm amidst the chaos. Her little head waiting at the door.. till we came home. People say I gave her a such a good life. Honestly, she gave me the life and now such a strong lesson in love. RIP EVIE love your family. Thank you for coming into our lives x
