Busy busy Easter of weddings, but working with not just great suppliers but also ones who have become amazing friends over the years make the 14-16 hour days so much fun also 🙏

Advice: to my future Brides and Grooms, when booking please can you inform me if you have booked two photographers and would strongly adiae also then to have a second videographer, as you can appreciate with a only one videographer that we cannot be in two places at the same time as two photographers so will miss vital prep and shots that two photographers would capture and after the wedding you maybe very upset that these moments weren’t captured on film too!

Lately during editing we have such a difficult take of not being able to use some amazing footage due to a second or (even a third) photographer in the background.

We all do work together and as suppliers know each other very well but when a wedding day is so jam packed and a tight schedule of time is adhered too, we often try to shoot/film the couples together also, this having us all in top of each other and in each others shots.

My advice is if you are having two photographers then have two videographers and that way both preps can be shot by both and all angles of the ceremony also from front and rear.

If during planning too, allow extra time for your formals and couple shots so the videographer has time too to take you both to one side also or that if working with the photographers side by side they both have equal time to shoot and film various scenes for your final video and photos!

If you are in any doubt of what you would like captured on your day please drop me a message and discuss this before hand NOT after, as we do have additional videographers in our office who can also attend and be a second shooter like you would have a second photographer!

Just a quick note to thank everyone for their patience on the summer wedding edits.
I took a couple of weeks off due to personal circumstances in Sept and am now back in full swing.
Funerals take priority but over the next 2-3 weeks I will be cracking on none-stop and getting everyone’s edits fully completed.

One of my fave parts of a wedding is the morning Prep , hopefully it’s chilled with me about, I make you feel relaxed and help out in any way I can.
During this time I often ask Brides and Grooms to read out that mornings card, letter or gift note that their loved one has sent them pre-wedding, it makes a beautiful and personal touch to the video edit when this audio is added 🥰

Tip of the day: Use your videographer to do a risk assessment of slippy rocks before allowing your couple to move into position.
