We are in full swing for the holiday season with the flipbook studio! Last night was a very sweet volleyball banquet for Colleyville Heritage at the elegant Bowden in Keller. Literally, the entire room was filled with gorgeous, tall people! 😍 We love working sports, cheer and choir banquets. There’s just something special about the bond between students who wake up early, work hard and join together as a team to accomplish big goals. Thank you for bringing us in to make some sweet memories for this team and their parents!

I overheard the gorgeous bride last night tell a friend that she had originally seen our flipbook at her prom. Being in business for 18 years sure does bring some sweet stories about how people find out about us. 💕

Last night was definitely a celebration to remember. Brittani and Hunter were surrounded by a room full of people who loved them and supported this marriage. Emerald City Band kept the dance floor packed, with guests taking breaks to get a drink and come make flipbooks.

At the end of the evening, I looked at the very front of the dance floor and saw the bride’s dad. Everyone around him was jumping around and dancing to the music, but he stood still and slowly turned around in a full circle. It was like a movie when the world is in full motion, but the character spins around in slow motion. You could tell that he was simply trying to absorb the momentous occasion and try to capture this moment in time into his memory. The band pumping energy into the crowd, his daughter and her new husband dancing beside him, being surrounded by the people who were most important to him in this world. ❤️

And I got choked up if I’m being honest. Not enough people stop and take a moment to look around in the middle of a wedding. It all goes by so quickly. From a parent’s perspective, this is the end of raising a child and the beginning of a new family. It’s a celebration with your tribe, the people who have been with you through thick and thin. What a beautiful moment in time to savor! I’m so glad I caught a glimpse of it.

In the middle of a crazy busy prom season, how fun is it to work a sweet and beautiful wedding when it’s your 17th wedding anniversary as well?! 😍 Congratulations to Mialani and Orien! You are surrounded by such a loving and supportive family. Cheers to a wonderful life together. 💕

I’ll admit. I’m not super great about posting on social media. 🙃 But I just had to show you pictures from a very sweet wedding we were recently a part of. Carie and Jeremy found us at the Dallas Bridal Show and made such a sweet flipbook! It’s hard to describe, but they just radiated fun and you could tell they were in love. I was secretly crossing my fingers that they would book us. I wanted to be a part of their special day!

Sure enough, I had an email waiting for me on Monday morning. Carie was a dream to work with. She sent us her invitation and we were able to make the flipbook cover match the wedding perfectly!

Allie and I smiled the entire event. 🩷 Carie and Jeremy‘s guests loved the flipbook as much as they did! What was really sweet for us is that multiple times throughout the evening, guests would swing by and talk to us and compliment us and sincerely tell us how much they were thankful that we were there. Comments included that they had never seen this before, but absolutely loved it; that they were fascinated at how quickly we could make the books from start to finish; and that it was such a great idea.

Our hearts were full as we drove away. Thank you, Carie and Jeremy, for letting us be a part of your memorable wedding! 😍

Love is in the air as brides plan out the details of their wedding. At a recent wedding, I was blown away by the details that Linh-Hoa chose to celebrate this sweet union and we were honored to be included. 🩷

“We LOVE working with PicFlips! Shawn and Amy are phenomenal! We worked with them over several months to ensure that the flipbooks were ready for our wedding.

As a designer, I was so glad they allowed me to design the front cover, back cover, and spine of the flipbooks. (If needed, they have a designer they can connect you with to make the design 🙂 ). They're super quick to communicate and give great advice to get your flipbook looking just right! They also did a test print for me to see how the covers would look!

On the day of the wedding, they came early to set up and they were a HUGE hit amongst our 120 guests. So many of our guests got a keepsake from our wedding because of how fast they could print out the copies! In addition, we selected the USB with all of the videos as a keepsake. We love watching the 7-second videos of our guests dancing away while wearing PicFlips' feather boas, signs, sunglasses, hats, etc.

It's been over a week since our wedding, and our guests are still talking about the flipbooks! (Some of them literally flip it for us to show it off again 🙂 ). Hands down -- PicFlips is the vendor you want at your event! You won't regret it!!”
