[Smedi Secer Upload TAKE 2] Revni slusatelj je otkrio da sam ripao i jebenu outlook notifikaciju (fuj) u prosloj stvari (a ja sam cijelo vrijeme gledao u mobitel gdje je taj mail koji ne stize dok sam jucer slusao taj rip barem 30 p**a) - pa evo ponovni pokusaj, a kao nadoknadu stete nudim vam ovaj detalj iz zivota Miralema Kruskica (1937 - 2011):

"...mladi sarajevski pjevaci isli su na turneje sa Orkestrom Radio Sarajeva po citavoj Bosni I Hercegovini. Kada bi pjevaci dolazili u neko mjesto tamo je bio pravi praznik. Uredivao se grad, cistile su se ulice, a u publici su bile zastupljene sve starosne dobi. U Sarajevu su bile cuvene igranke na igralistu i u sali Fiskulturnog doma ” Fisa” ili u sali ” Sloga”. Pjevalo se po notama , pjevaci su bili tip- top obuceni u odjelu sa kravatom. Po nekoliko hiljda mladih je dolazilo na ples, pod motom “Dame biraju”. Djevojke su se zaljubljivale u pjevace.

Tako je i Miralem upoznao svoju suprugu Timu na jednom koncertu u Zenici. U prvom redu je sjedila jedna Zenicanka, crnka , sa plavim ocima u prekrasnoj, crvenoj haljini. Svjedoci te ljubavi su bili Zaim Imamovic, Zehra Deovic i Himzo Polovina. Miralem je pjevao pjesmu ” Sagapo” i umjesto rijeci sa pocetka pjesme. ” gdje si nasla crne oci” on je crne oci preinacio u plave. 1967 godie su se Tima i Miralem vjencali." ~https://memoriammiralemkruskic.wordpress.com/

Te 1967 kad su se Tima i Miralem vjencali, objavljena je i ova singlica kao obrada pjesme Tonya Renisa – Non Sei Mariu' Stasera izdane na 7" 1964. god za La Voce Del Padrone. Domaci aranzman Djordje Novkovic, rijeci Nada Zej, izvedba: Orkestar Esada Arnautalića.

I pulled out this record today while talking to my mom to discuss a certain song, which will be an important leitmotif for my future LP release. This made me remember two things: 1. the only known funky Ivo Robić track with a break is found on this LP - and I know this because, 2. Sometime in 2018 I did this super topical mix made up of funky and groovy tracks performed in the Melodije Istre I Kvarnera festival (1965-1981) sung in a ČA dialect and often layered with a local istrian musical scale played on specific wind instruments. Did some heavy digging for this one because the LPs and 7" from this festival are seldom found around MIK localities. Check the clips and find the whole mix on my YouTube channel or SoundCloud. [UPLOAD HEAT] Super founkee Shocking Blue - Venus version by Yugoslavia's own Montenegro Singers. Released in Germany in 1975 for Berndi Music - an unknown label with only one catalog number recorded - 1630 listed on this release. Finally, in my hands - the repress of the cult Yugoslavian boogie disco LP ŽUR by Boban Petrović destined to be played this summer. Oh, it sounds just as I hoped for - it's a soul melting earfull. Many people had their eyes on this project - but the team pulled it off - better believe the hype. Thank you and for making this one sound, look and read OG - from the original artwork and split front cover to the goosebump liner notes performed, not written, by - the man I immediatelly thought of when we started this big release and whose book is finally in my hands (Djape care). There has been a surge in AI generated music - just yesterday I was notified of YT channel dedicated to AI generated vintage ex-Yugoslavian music call Izgubljene ploce. s**t sounds wild. Soon after I started playing with it and then my man Jaka Batič prompted this one out - it's a 'sumama i gorama' big band yugo jazz funk - which has been completely prompt generated with solos and drum breaks included. ...(Is it on discogs?)...

[NEW RELEASE - PRE-ORDER] - After more than 40 years of holding the title of one of the grooviest world Disco and funky AOR records coming from ex-Yugoslavia, the legendary ŽUR, romantic debut LP by yugo disco legend Boban Petrović is finally getting a repress on Everland Music Group. In close cooperation with Boban we have been able to do justice to this LP held dear by all in the rare groove scene. The LP was burning wallet holes for those unlucky to stumble upon on an affordable copy (the LP was going for more than 200€ in the last year) so now is your chance to get your hands on a copy remastered by Grammy nominee Jessica Thompson. Additionally, for this release spear headed by Nenad Borovic, we got Bege Fank, the funky Belgrade historian, MC, rapper and artist on board to do research, liner notes and an interview with Boban - all packed in a beautiful booklet containing forgotten archive press clippings of Boban. For those in the mood to complete their solo Boban collection in one go - Everland is also putting out a Zur and Zora as a deluxe double release - so check that out as well. I still remember to this day getting my hands on a copy brought to me by Dejan Gavrilovic straight from Nis to Rijeka - I never left to a gig from that moment on without packing Zur in the bag. This LP is an unavoidable testament to the socialist pop culture going mainstream and as well a testament to a man and his disco vision. Zur was recorded in Yugoslavia but, the vocals, mix and mastering were done in Switzerland in the end where Boban went to complete and polish the LP.
