Y U M M Y...

How To Make Your House Smell Like Christmas🌲🍊🌰

3-5 cinnamon sticks
1 sliced orange
2 sprigs juniper
1 tablespoon cloves
1 tablespoon star anise
1 cup fresh cranberries
2 tsp nutmeg
3 slices ginger

Fill a medium sized pot or small crockpot 3/4 full of water, and add the ingredients of your choice (sample above).

Bring to a boil for a few minutes, and then lower the heat to simmer.
Let it simmer for as long as you'd like. Be sure to watch the water level, and refill if needed.

Save the mixture in a glass jar or bowl in the refrigerator when finished. It can last you several days! Simply reheat the next day to re-scent your home.

‘Tis the season for hiking into trees and bringing home Christmas trees 🪓🌲 Did you know Personal Use Forest Product Permits for harvesting trees on provincial Crown land within Alberta’s Green Area are complimentary this season? We look forward to the tradition of cutting down our family tree each year. If you’re looking for a great way to spend time outdoors this December, this makes for a fun day!
