Last week was a dream that my younger self always held close. Inspired by the timeless romance of Romeo & Juliet and the heart-wrenching pages of French and English literature, Velvetine came to life. Classical music, nostalgia, and stories of love and loss have always shaped my creative vision, and to share it in New York is beyond words. Grateful for every step of this journey, and to all who helped bring this forever dream to reality.

My Dress 🕊️

I always knew I wanted a full sheer French lace dress. We call it naked dress. But with structure and a statement veil. I got clearly inspired by the Victorian era, and a haute couture Chanel gown from the 90’s that forever shaped my fashion aesthetic.
The corset was fully boned and we used two different laces, one being a vintage lace taken from a famous French fashion house archives. I wanted a silhouette that blend mermaid vibes and vintage feel.

The Girls • Alright, ladies, let me tell you—I always knew my bridesmaids were going to be a total girl gang, decked out in black. None of that pastel, floral nonsense. We’re talking timeless, chic, sexy, and above all, confident. I wasn’t about to pick their dresses for them—no way. Each one of them came to the Paris studio, tried on a few of gowns in white, and guess what? Each of them ended up choosing an iconic design but adapted in custom black. & It’s literally everything! And let me tell you, they looked absolutely fire. Total badass vibes, 10/10 would do again. Love you my babes 💄💋

05.15.2024 • Our Spring Civil Ceremony aka the first part of our wedding celebration • We wanted an intimate gathering in the heart of the city we call home. Paris is our city, and we wanted to celebrate our love here while keeping it special and personal. This day was the the first part of our Bali celebration, and we were so lucky to have but also a live group to capture the magic of the moment. I chose a wedding dress inspired by November Rain music video, and had a lily of the valley bouquet by , as May marks both our birthdays.
