undisputedly one of the most esteemed names in the club and music scene. His CV resembles many a DJ’s bucket list, from his humble beginnings in
pirate radio, to touring the world as grime pioneer Chip’s official DJ. His

name a few, his renowned open format skills have him in high demand. Originally hailing from the East London suburbs, DJ Illness solidified
his reputation as a respected DJ in the UK urban scene, after he discovered his
talent at a local East London record store when he was just 16 years old. Gaining
a taste for live sets, his zeal landed him a slot on Extreme FM, where his
popular show The Urban Explosion saw names like Tinie Tempah spitting over his
mixes. DJ Illness’ talents goes further than the decks, he also ran a recording
studio as an engineer, where he established invaluable relationships and his
desirable position as Chip’s Official DJ. Extending his credibility even further, he’s curated radio mixes for
1Xtra’s Annie Mac, Capital Xtra and Kiss Fresh, worked with famous brands like
Adidas and Footlocker, and supported International artists including Snoop Dogg,
Trey Songz and Ne-Yo. With a diary that never sleeps, and the work ethic to match, DJ Illness
allows followers to take a glimpse behind the scenes across his social media,
showcasing energetic sets of him shutting down the club, and sneak peaks of his
enviable tour life. His regularly released ‘Ill Behaviour’ mixes are a keen sample of how he
gets the party started every time.

Dry January is officially over, it’s officially rainy February and I’m not talking about the weather!

There’s many ways in which I get job satisfaction, patrons going out of their way at the end of the night to say they enjoyed themselves is one… Cash landing on the decks no requests just keep doing what you’re doing is the other 😁

Last night was an absolute movie! & myself played a sold out Shephards Bush Empire… Again 😎🤷🏾‍♂️

After reschedules due to lockdowns & unfortunate injuries this show was long overdue but it was definitely worth the wait! Felt so good to be back and the energy was electric!

Shouts out .stack, , Jme, , and everybody who blessed the stage!

Been on journey with Chip, the latter pictures were taken on 21/02/2010 at the previous headline show and we still going!

I’ve not made it to the Emirates this season but I feel like this stadium was very close second, decor and capacity very similar!

Enjoyed an easy win for Benfica and a little bit of chill time between the madness of my trip to Lisbon. They sponsored by the beer company Sagres but can only serve alcohol free drinks in this stadium. Let’s hope that doesn’t catch on in the uk!

Gifted Launch Party for the new album

If you’re wondering why my face is like this it’s because they gave me straight Wray & Nephew… What do you mean there was no mixer left? This rum is iolence by itself 😂 As a true Caribbean I handle my liquor well but yeah, I was hella burst when I got outside. Was not the plan on a school night.

Don’t drink kids 😅

Most importantly seeing Koffee perform is always an experience. I’ve listened to the album and I’m happy that it represents Reggae music positively in the mainstream space. I wish her all the best as this is only the beginning of her journey.
