Day 10 of we have another one of our guest cosplay judges Exuberant Cosplay

Jarvis Byrd Jr, also known as Exuberant Cosplay, is an award winning costume and prop maker based in Detroit, MI. He became acquainted with cosplay when a friend mentioned it to him back in 2017. It was a natural fit because he has always been passionate about art and flexing his creativity. Jarvis specializes in armor work, and creating complex and detailed armor. His first armor cosplay was Lagiacrus from Monster Hunter, and he constructed it from head to toe, including the weapon. This first costume launched an addiction to costume making that has propelled him ever since. Jarvis has also been hosting armor cosplay related panels to cosplayers who’s interested in making armor out of foam. He has also been supporting other POC related panels over the years

Over the years, Jarvis has created many other builds, competing and offering inspiration to other cosplayers along the way.

Malzeno Cosplay Work in progress.
Yep, that’s right. I am working on two cosplays this year! Lets start off with this one.
Malzeno is an elder dragon from the game Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. It’s a demon/vampire like dragon that’s destroys every living creature’s. This pretty much sums up of why I wanted to make this cosplay. It’s freaking BADASS!

Sonic Cosplay work in progress PT 2
Hello! I just got done making the helmet for the egg hammer costume. All three pieces are detachable, the head, helmet, and blade at the top. Mostly just for transportation purposes. Anyways, it’s not really much I’m showing here except for the scale difference. This helmet is huge!

It has been too long of a hiatus. Let me introduce you to a NEW cosplay project, the Egg Hammer. So far, I am currently making the head of the robot. It will have LEDs hook up into it. And it’s going to be big! Expect to see more work in progress content soon!

Youmacon last Saturday was really nice. At first, it didn’t give me the vibe because of how much I’ve been to this con. Although, It felt like an encouragement to get into making cosplays again. It was great seeing a lot of cool cosplayers there!

Well hello!
It’s been a long time hasn’t it? Kept everyone waiting for a new post. Ya boy is still here, living a breathing with a new cosplay project in progress! I am currently working on a Soldier Cosplay from Palworld. I have been playing this game since release and I’ve always been thinking about making something small for right now.
This will help me enhance my abilities to get into sewing and LED lighting more. I’m starting to get a hang of my sewing machine a bit more often so I’m not focusing too much of the foam work. Hopefully, all of this will payoff.
I’m taking this project a little bit slow for right now so I can get used to other techniques with other projects. It feels good to build again!

ICYMI: I made a post on my story to inform everyone that I’ve decided to cancel the Final Fantasy Dark Knight Cosplay. This is a heartbreaking news to myself and mostly everyone else who was looking forward to this cosplay.
