Deep Down East is back! We’re delighted to invite you to our first open air at . For this edition, DDE is bringing you one of the brightest new-coming stars of the French techno scene, .

The sound of the Moroccan DJ and producer, part of , radiates through throbbing drums she summons from her memories, celestial whispers and fragile voices: the divine feminine emanates from all the pulsating vibrations she casts. During sets, Vel knows no limits of genre; she’s always eager to hit hard, defying boundaries and BPMs, a true force of nature.

Our second invitee is the Ukrainian DJ, promoter, founder of q***r rave , . He has been a key figure in the club life of Kyiv for more than ten years and is directly at the forefront of the development of the electronic scene in Ukraine. His sets are very eclectic with an open-minded atmosphere and balancing between techno, acid, trance with a lot of old school stuff. You will find Tweeman playing alongside our resident Stanislawa for an explosive b2b.

For the rest, our residents will take care of you with their selection of groovy house and techno beats with two spicy b2bs.

DDE БАНДА artist announcement 2

Vera Moro (she/they) is a q***r Brussels-based DJ and performer. Her performances are her chosen means of self-expression, combining music, dance, and attention to makeup, and clothes. She presents a wide range of music genres, from slower-paced 130 bpm hardhouse and acid, to 150 hardgroove, with a particular interest for nineties or nineties inspired trance.

Born and raised in Verona, Italy, Vera moved at an early age to Chile, before settling permanently in Brussels. These experiences strongly influenced her music tastes that expand from pop, rap or reggaeton to jazz, electro, and techno. Her will is to express her musical past cohesively through uniting different music styles in her sets.

Vera Moro is very active in the blossoming Brussels' q***r scene, and particularly interested in collaborating with q***r organisations all over Europe. Creating a q***rer, safer space in the nightlife is one of the main goals of her artistic expression.

A dynamic duo since high school, Stan & Xto bonded over their similar passions at an early age. Sharing a common struggle to live their q***r identities in the countryside, they both turned to music as a key element for survival.

Now, from messing around on the decks, to unleashing mayhem during their freestyle jamming sessions, they’re turning the city of Brussels upside down with their punchy, kick-heavy sound. Never taking themselves too seriously & always tongue-in-cheek, for DDE БАНДА they prepared a fast funky groovy selection that will make you dance til the sunrise- think old school Ibiza.

We’re thrilled to announce that our crew is returning to Barrio in full force for a DDE residents night special: DDE БАНДА (BANDA). But wait, there’s more: we’re welcoming not one but *two* sizzling new residents to our inner circle the only way we know how- with a bang of a showcase, family style.

By definition, a БАНДА is a rebellious group, a gang.

DDE БАНДА (BANDA): a likeminded group of artists united through music and q***r & feminist identities. We connect through a common enthusiasm for music and rave culture and seek to share this passion with others, while offering a safer space for people who long to express their authentic selves. Mutual respect is at the core of our family values, and this translates into our events.

Polish Quearster Artist Announcement 4: STANISLAWA b2b TIMON TONIC (EURO2012)

EURO2012 is the collaboration of half Polish/half Belgian djs Stanislawa & Timon Tonic.

The roommates have been spending their time over the last few months blending genres and spinning records with friends in their studio. When the duo first met in 2021, the match was instant and Stanislawa asked Timon to join Deep Down East’s board.

Polish Quearster Artist Announcement 3: XTOSSY

Xtossy is a q***r Brussels-based newcomer dj. He has always been interested in music in general but his passion for djing started in Portugal, when he was living in an international students community, a friend living there had turntables and the revelation for Xtossy was instant when first touched the decks.

With over a decade of experience under her belt, Moli Monster is now rightfully taking the place among Europe’s best DJs. Showcasing her omnivorous taste for euphoric and fun music, Monster can be heard playing old school trance, techno, house, acid, breaks and everything in between, usually championing producers from her local Polish scene.

Brussels it’s been a while we haven’t seen each other and for this comeback we’ve brought together the best people to spend this Q***r - Easter celebration at Recyclart.
For this new DDE party, we invite you to discover two Polish artists from Oramics collective through a live performance and a dj set: 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮 and 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿.
Using their music to communicate with the world and navigate their own identity, q***r non-binary artist activist, aka 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮, explores s*x and body positivity through ritual dark wave performances. After not seeing themselves represented in the music scenes that they were drawn to, the Polish artist created Mala Herba as an alternate persona.
With over a decade of experience under her belt 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 is now rightfully taking the place among Europe's best DJ. Showcasing her omnivorous taste for euphoric and fun music, Monster can be heard playing old school trance, techno, house, acid, breaks and everything in between, usually championing producers from her local Polish scene. Embracing the inner goddess of mischief, she's also the mastermind behind Bathroom DJ Greatest Hits parody account on Instagram.
𝗫𝘁𝗼𝘀𝘀𝘆, 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 and 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮 will be opening and closing the party with a special novelty as Timon and Stan will perform together for the first time as EURO2012.
