We hear you, it can be hard to get a ticket to our Sub Rosa events. So we've added a NEW EVENT on August 19 and it's going to be🔥!

Tickets will go on sale Thursday, June 15 at noon via an email link to subscribers. A few things you should know before you snag one:

All of the things you love about Sub Rosa stay--the secret location, a beautiful table, free-flowing beverages, and delicious food. This one is a larger event with lots of extra seats at the table so more of you can join us. PLUS we have an international guest chef coming to join us and live music!

(This particular event is not ideal for vegetarians, but you are still welcome and won't go hungry!)

Our April dinner is up on the blog tonight! We honored the things that only spring on the farm can yield—blossoms from the cherry and redbud trees, freshly cut watercress, preserved peach and pepper jam, apples, Virginia trout, hints of summer tomato, spring lamb, watercress, greens, and root vegetables. And we did it in a humble hoop house on a Virginia Century Farm with some beautiful people.

We broke bread in a hoop house on an orchard with major history. The Ryan family have been farming this land for literally centuries. Originally acquired from the US Gov’t in a land grant for fighting in the Revolutionary War, Patrick and his wife Rebecca are the 9th generation to cultivate this slice of Shenandoah beauty.

It was a dinner to celebrate the season of “almost”--full of optimism and anticipation, the hope for good weather and good growing conditions, and to honor all the things that are and will be--blossoms from the cherry trees, freshly cut watercress, preserved peach jam, apples, Virginia trout, hints of summer tomato, spring lamb, verdant greens, and root cellar vegetables.

After a nearly sixty year U.S. economic embargo, Cubans have learned to invent and innovate—keeping cars from the 1950s running strong, pioneering modern organic farming due to lack of access to chemicals, and popping up paladars—privately run home restaurants across the country.

After an almost 3 year hiatus, Sub Rosa Supper Club is back! We hosted our first dinner of the year in the a new workspace project where entrepreneurs and manufacturing ventures can access equipment and industry experts. This spirit of innovation inspired us to do a Cuban dinner complete with rum from our new friends at in Richmond. Watch for the full blog post and photos coming later this week!

Sub Rosa Supper Club events are back for 2023!

Joining us for a Sub Rosa event means you are part of an exclusive one-night, pop-up dinner experience in a secret, exquisitely curated space within 25 miles of Harrisonburg. The exact location is announced 24 hours prior to the event and the menu and guest list are a secret until you arrive.

Tickets for all four events will go on sale to our MEMBERS ONLY on December 9 at 12 noon. We will not have other releases for tickets so be prepared to act quickly on your selected date/s as these tickets always go fast. Choose from February 3, April 15, July 22 or November 17.
