Here we go then boys and girls! The first semi final is today! There will be six bands all competing for the opportunity to get to the Grand Finale at Tower Fieldon the 29th of June.

There will be a judges decision and of course a crowd vote.
There's also a guest band in SENTIENT who won Hitchins 2023 regionals!

This is all going down at YE Golden Lion . There are still some tickets available on the door!

Good afternoon ladies and gents. It's been a long road and for the foreseeable HOP Events is somewhat retired. There's movement for future events to occur but until a few things are ironed out we simply can't progress.

This all being said founder and co owner Skye will be progressing forward working with Dan of Metal mania in putting together 3 days of amazing music and 4 days of camping!

If you're interested in anything going forward with this, please do pop over to Northants Rocks and drop the page a follow.

Here are the majority of headliners for the event and can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

So after a huge hiatus, we can now confirm we will be returning to Raffs Bar - Wellingborough with this absolutely mega show on the 17th of December (so get it in your diaries now!)

The Darkhorse who have yet to play locally since the lift in restrictions are eager to get you all together and bang our heads!

Huge support for this show coming from Leicesters very own Stonedead Villains and local up and comers Worth a Shot and Onion Mash!

We're looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and have also got quite a few things we're working on behind the scenes.

To all people wondering about HOP fest. We are looking to go ahead with it for 2022 and all tickets will be valid for all those who have purchased for 2021. We're putting together the line up in the coming months so please be patient with us.

One final quick thank you, is to the super talented Mat Williams (who for some reason I can't tag. I'll tag him in the comments below) for the new swish as hell logo and new showcase posters which we'll be using moving forward. If you need a logo, or poster! Look no further.

Good morning,

Unfortunately contrary to everyone else it seems, we have opted to postpone HOP FEST 2021 for a further delay. After the announcement. We had a long phone call with the venue in question where we are hoping to host it, and truly think that a week after the plan that is presented for the coming months is just playing it too risky.

We are planning 100% without a doubt to host HOP FEST THIS YEAR, but want to ensure the safety of people and also not keep wasting everyone's time with even more postponement messages. We're just as frustrated as everyone else believe me, we're just going to play this on a realistic level and not an optimistic level. All bands are on board still and we still had a couple more acts and names to announce and add to an already stacked line up.

All tickets are available for refund, if you could email us at [email protected] however if you would like to hold on to your ticket. It will be valid and as we say will almost definitely be happening this year pending it being possible for anyone. In short, if we're allowed to have live music events. This will be happening 100% this year.

We as always thank you for your support and patience with this ongoing pandemic. Live music is just around the corner.

An ever so side note. I apologise for all bands contacting to get involved and play shows with us. Right now, my first and only priority is getting the go ahead and getting everything in place for HOP fest. We're not booking to organising anything else until this is sorted HOWEVER, if you keep an eye out, once that is sorted and the new dates in place, we will likely do a couple of shows to get people warmed up in the road to HOP fest and will be looking for acts for them shows.
