Alongside the current clubs we have in Scotland (not many now) will these iconic old venues do the damage in the current climate.

These were mega clubs at the time and it’s great to think they’d regain some of the magic they had but not sure where they will go.

Any of you lot go been to these and think they will work ?

I hope the new clubbers get to experience the same magic we got in these places.

Really enjoyed Vernons challenge on BBC Radio 2, he took it onto the streets where he lived and involved everybody there and got their support which made it feel like you could be more part of it instead of stuck in a studio banging a drum or singing etc.
It showed in the money raised as well.

The year is 1991, its New Years Eve, It's the very first Eurodance at Prestwick Airport and Hooligan X & Mancini are playing RHYTHM IS A MYSTERY - K-KLASS as the last record of the year and going up to the bells and into 1992. One of the biggest and most iconic tracks of the Acid House years and beyond. The framed record thats in the raffle is this very vinyl. Link in comments. Please share

I embraced technology at every turn in the dj world but I genuinely feel really sorry for the DJs who never have or never will experience this…. The feel of vinyl, the crackle, the warmth that only vinyl gives you in the sound that you can’t get from digital. I’m feeling a wee bit emotional tonight with these records going tomorrow.☹️
