THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE

One week from today, the JAM for JAMMIN will commence

We sold out the first 300 tickets early last week but the committee has to decided to release a few more. So, be sure to get yours while they last!!

Last Wednesday night our 2 high bidders to STAR in the show, (Chris Isermann and Jenny Mollo), traveled with me to our studio in Chicago to rehearse and record the songs they will be performing for you Saturday night. They were amazing. As you can see by the picture, they and the band have worked tirelessly to put together a great show for you. Now, we can't wait for the party.

EXTRA, EXTRA. READ ALL ABOUT IT!!!!

2 weeks from today, if you show up at the GBB fundraiser for Jammin At The Clock, you will have the opportunity to hear the first live performances of 2 FUTURE SUPERSTARS.

Two very generous Ladies have donated to the cause, for the opportunity to front the band and perform the song of their choice. Their selection will remain a secret, but I am pleased to announce that our 2 auction winners are;

Chris Isermann, and

Jenny Mollo.

These 2 Ladies will travel with me Wednesday to our Maple Street Studio in Chicago, to rehearse and record their song. Both numbers are quite a diversion for the band but we are having so much fun taking it there.

We continue to be asked if tickets will be available at the door? Here's the dilemma! We HOPE to "pack the house" but not overpack it so as to interfere with a great time for all. We want everyone to have room to dance, dance, dance to the music. To date, we have sold 200 tickets and we will announce next Saturday whether tickets will be available at the door? We want to thank all the people who have bought tickets to date, Pre sale will allow the committee to set up to seat everyone and have the right amount of food, drink and bartenders for a smooth flow and a great time.

Are you ready to Dance?

Only 4 weeks from last night, The GBB will be Jammin For The Clock. This is a fund raiser to provide funds to continue the great work Toni and Cinda have done to bring you live entertainment at Heritage Park, free, every Friday night in downtown Streator!

Here are some things you should know:

It's goin down Saturday, October 14th at the Knights of Columbus hall, at 806 Oakley Avenue.

6:00-9:00 (Doors open at 5:30)

Full cash bar and food service will be available.

Tickets are $10.00 to support the cause. If you can't make it, please consider making a donation anyway. We have been asked if tickets will be available at the door. The answer is maybe. We far prefer to sell the tickets in advance so that the committee can do proper planning (room set up, food and bar needs, plenty of bar tenders to support THE FLOW).

Tickets are available at Streator Home Savings Bank, Good Morning Good Day Cafe on Main (and enjoy a great and unique lunch when you stop by) or from Cinda Bond, Toni Pettit or myself, Pat Gibbons 674-2957.

We are very pleased to announce that two secret, talented performers have been generous enough to donate $450 to Jammin. They will be rehearsing with the band and performing for you that night. You don't want to miss it. You may be getting a first hand look at possible future Super Stars!!

As a special added attraction, and to raise additional funds for the Clock, we are holding an auction.
This is your opportunity to fulfill your life long dream of being a recording artist and star!

The successful bidder will

-Travel to our studio in Chicago ( a safe part of town) to rehearse and put down a track of their selected song.

-Become a member of the band for a moment and perform that song before what we feel will be a large audience on October 14th at our event at the K of C

-Bids close on September 30th to allow preparation time

-Song is subject to band approval

We will be Jammin that night for the benefit of “Jammin at the Clock”

Jammin at the Clock was organized and is run annually on a volunteer basis, by 2 Awesome Ladies-Cinda Bond and Toni Pettit. They provide diversified, live music every Friday night, thru the summer, at the clock in downtown Streator.

NO- no tickets, no cover charges!! We just wanted some people to hang out at our reunion and have some fun with us listening and dancing to our music

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Due to concerns about the potential weather, we have decided to move out Reunion/Jam Session inside to the Knights of Columbus Banquet Hall. This is a good move because;
-The weather forecast is scary, with the possibility of cold and 28 mile/hour wind gusts
-The management is going all out to make this a great event. Even though we will not be able. by law, to bring in our own beverages, they will have a full service cash bar and will be featuring $4.00 well drinks and $2.00 cans of beer.
-If you like, you can still bring any snacks or food, but know that their full service restaurant will be open as well.
-No need to bring chairs or blankets.
-We will have a nice big dance floor for all the party animals
-Attire is total casual.
