black eyed susans in honor of my mama. she’s been gone six years today, and it never gets easier. but I like to think the parts of myself I love the most come from pieces of her. mountain fern is a tribute to her in a lot of ways.

fun fact- she called them black eyed susiez, and they were her absolute favorite flowers
