Today, I canceled the yearly subscription for FtB’s website. It’s the first real step in moving away from this business and it felt… goodweirdbittersweetright.

For those who don’t yet know, For the Beauty has existed in a time of break for me from what I thought was going to be a forever career of public school teaching. I’m headed back to that first passion in the next year and ending FtB, but I’ll always be so grateful to all the couples who let me create beauty for some of their most joyous days.

Lots of my favorite florists showing off gorgeous work with a really fun floral ingredient lately. That bubbly yellow flower is called mimosa and she just sings that spring is right around the corner. I had to join the fun with this styled shoot from last February.

I believe couples deserve to have vendors that are in their corner.
