As we rebuild, we want to continue serving those who need joy most—orphans, widows, and families who are struggling. But today, the need has grown exponentially.

This past year has been unlike any other. Now, as we move forward beyond October 7th, 2024, HOLY SIMCHAS is entering a new chapter of service. The tragedy that unfolded has left many boys and girls orphaned by the war. In a single yeshuv near Otef Aza, countless families were shattered 💔, and many who survived are now left without one or both parents. This loss is layered atop the already significant pain of those impacted by previous terror attacks, and families who lost loved ones as soldiers protecting our nation. 🕊️

In the aftermath of the war, the need for joy has become even more urgent. We’re seeing so many more orphans, so many more families shattered. Spreading joy through music 🎶 has become a lifeline for people in deep pain, offering them a moment of release, a moment of connection 🤲.

On October 7th, we faced a tragedy that struck not only at the heart of Israel and the Jewish people but also at the very essence of our shared humanity. This attack was an affront to the values of love, unity, and community that bind us all together, transcending borders and beliefs.

In the wake of such profound sorrow, we will mourn the loss of our loved ones and the safety we once took for granted. We will honor their memory, allowing our grief to flow through us as we reflect on the lives that were changed forever. But amid this mourning, we will not be silenced; we will not let fear extinguish our spirit.

We come together as a vibrant community, a tapestry of cultures and backgrounds, united by our love for dance—a universal language that speaks to our souls.

Hey everyone! Our daughter's bat mitzvah is on the horizon. I'm curious about your experiences with event photography. I'm weighing the options between hiring a magnet photographer who walks around snapping candid shots vs. setting up a photo booth station. Here's what I've found so far:

📸 **Magnet Photographer (Roaming):**
**Pros:**
- Captures candid, in-the-moment photos.
- Can move through the event, getting a variety of shots with different groups.
- Feels more personal and interactive.
**Cons:**
- Might miss people who don’t like being photographed.

A good man, a friend and fellow Simcha DJ was shockingly robbed. Roy Baron is amazing simcha DJ. Erev Tisha B'av (yesterday) he was shockingly robbed of most of my DJ equipment - gear that's used to make a LOT of people happy and healthy.

Let's get him back up ASAP. I'm sure he needs gear to help people . Now is a time to celebrate like I've never seen.
