Absolutely up there as the most fun I've had in a while...three consecutive nights emceeing and DJing the South Florida Cloggers Nights Of Fright Halloween Horror House at Bamford Park in Davie. Thank you Town of Davie - Government , Rebecca Stone Vetter and the SFC team of volunteers for putting on such a great community event!!

If you grew up on Album Oriented Rock radio when DJs selected the songs and weren't shackled to a limited playlist created by corporate suits you are going to LOVE the Soulful Steep this Saturday night!

I, DJDean and the Steep's own DJHollywood are going to go head to head, song for song, mixing popular favorites with deep cuts, to bring you a great mix of classic rock music that will blow your minds.

From America to ZZ Top (and everything in between) it'll be a night of "oh man, I love this song" and "I haven't heard that in years; what a great tune!" Of course, dancing, air guitars and drums and sing-alongs are always encouraged!

While you are jamming to some of the greatest music ever created, you can enjoy a bar full of healthy (but decadent) eats and treats and the finest array of teas and coffees in South Florida. Did I mention the salt cave? Yeah, they even have one of those!!

LOCAL PEEPS! Come join me this Saturday, August 3, at The Soulful Steep for a night of Beatles music! There will be a trio of fine musicians there performing songs from the Beatles catalog and in between sets I will be sharing DJ duties with John Holly Wood spinning Beatles songs on vinyl you don't always hear on the radio. So come on out and enjoy the excellent food and dessert offerings, the immense variety of teas and coffee and most of all the fun hippie vibes as we celebrate what is arguably the greatest band in the history of rock, The Beatles!

I am honored to once again be a part of this celebration of America's heroes...our first responders. This event is SOLD OUT and I will be DJ'ing, keeping the atmosphere fun and lively! Can't believe this room will be filled with 360 first responders tomorrow evening! We are excited to be able to award 14 scholarships while honoring the legacy of Firefighters and EMS providers we have lost. Thanks to our National Paramedic Scholarship Partner for helping us reach across the country this year and share our mission to Support.Honor.Educate First Respondes their loved ones and families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty!

Back to back DJ gigs yesterday. Up at 5am for a 8:30 pickleball tournament in Boca Raton. Forgot to snap a pick. Too early in the morning for this DJ. 😄. Then I had the pleasure of celebrating Robyn's 60th birthday at the Cooper City American Legion. What a fun group!
