When you sit in my chair, you're not just getting your makeup done.
You're telling me about that trip to Italy you just booked. You vent about your job. You're showing me pictures of your new house. We talk about politics, the weather and our kids. You recall how you met the bride and bring up some childhood memories.
Like life itself, the morning of a wedding day can get quite hectic (in a good way 😉). But when you're in my chair, you have nothing else to do but to let your body be still and set your mind free from the busyness. I love that I am able to offer that.
As a makeup artist, it is so rewarding to see a person's face when they take a first look at themselves after I am done. But I think my favorite part of my profession, is all the different connections I get to make with so many people ✨
