La vie en rose⊠a small sampling of some of my favorite roses for this weekendâs weddings! Gah.
La vie en rose⊠a small sampling of some of the roses we have lined up for this weekend. Gah!
The only reason I like August.
The sweetest boutonniĂšres for Connor and his crew this weekend out in Bozeman!
While I normally work with a lot of color, Iâm discovering a love of a clean, neutral palette. Feels fresh. (Especially if I can incorporate some mint and jasmine from the garden!)
Happy Fourth of July from my corner to yours! đșđž

That 6am race to cut the field ranunculus before the rain hits!
We have some very lucky CSA members today! Peony season is upon us. Donât blink, because it may be done tomorrow! DM me if youâre interested in grabbing a bouquet this week. Theyâll be gone next week. đ
Itâs the sweet, homemade touches that I love most at weddings. Madelynâs Dad made this beautiful place card shelving unit for the bud vase place cards, which double as their favors. Brilliant! đ
I planted our Abelia under the shade of our huge Japanese maple over 7 years ago. Not my best idea. Grew slowly. Stretched for light. Was finally able to get my first few cuts off of them last spring. And this year, we are harvesting pretty heavily for 2 weddings this weekend! Nothing gives me more joy to incorporate a hard won, extremely special crop/flower/green that we grew ourselves. If you donât have any Abelia in your garden, run to the nursery. They have sweetest, dainty white flowers with a yummy fragrance. And after the flowers have faded, I use the airy foliage in arrangements as well. And that, folks, is my official plug for Abelia.
A really beautiful week in the gardens here.
Many years of hard work and envisioning a place where I can step into beauty each and every day has paid well.
It was a beautiful weekend. Thank you Shoshanna and Josh. Honored to flower your wedding!
Happy Memorial Day weekend.
May you all find some time for the things that bring you joy.
And so it begins⊠our first peony of the season. As a few more begin to bloom, our peony subscription will start! Check your email early next week.
Donât ask me what variety this is. Iâm a terrible label-er.
If anyone knows, please tell me? đ€Ș

Cheers and bring on spring!
Tell me youâre coming to our plant sale on Saturday without telling me youâre coming to our plant sale on Saturday. And donât forget to skip on over to Pegâs plant sale the same day! Super close.
Meet Sarah! She keeps the wheels from falling off here around the farm. Always with a smile, even while weâre weeding. She harvests a mean tulip and is one of New Englandâs finest rosarians. đ Thanks for all you do, Sarah who is not on Instagram. đ«¶đ»
