Dankh Sound, a new Sheffield music brand that will be built over the summer before its first night of big drum and bass music on the second Saturday of November. We will hopefully then go on to establish ourselves as a big name in the Sheffield music scene, adding to its development as well as contributing through supporting local talent and charities through events on the second weekend of every
month. The ultimate goal is to create one of the biggest drum and bass nights in this part of the country through both big talent and a lot of hard work. It is associated with the giving of life, regeneration, eternal life, and in more recent times a disdain towards materialism; things which we believe to be relative to music, true lovers of music and the cause. The 'D' was added to make the word more street friendly, and perhaps more appealing to those that aren't down with their Ancient Egyptian history. However, the brand's image will be based around the origins of its name, and we hope to create something distinguishable, strong and successful through our Egyptian-based theme and hard work. To summarise; we're gonna bring some fu**in' big drum and bass to some of the world's finest people in one of the world's finest cities. And we're gonna do it with style.
