One day away…
This Sorrento based group set off to Capri for a welcome dinner. We departed Sorrento, had a sunset sail to Capri where we then tendered to the island and transported guests to Capri town. From there we all walked through the piazzetta to where guests dined and danced in a market style dinner. We sailed back to Sorrento later in the evening and shuttled guests back to their respective hotels. Logistics, logistics!

For days like this, find your self a group of vendors and a photographer that are fun to be around and can mix well with the group.. (see last slide) 😉

Also, if you are a wedding guest and dress 💯 for the event hosted, we applaud you 👏 🍹 🍋

There is something special about intimate weddings. J&B invited 24 of their closest friends and family, bought out a hotel in Tuscany and spoiled their guests for 3 full days. When there is exclusive use, we get the opportunity to use spaces throughout the hotel grounds in almost any way we want. Sometimes we use spaces that have never been used before at the hotel, while other times we reuse spaces in different ways. We turned the “breakfast room” into a “rehearsal dinner” space so much so that some guests didn’t even realize they were in the same space at first. We urged a vastly different color palette from the welcome party and wedding day to make the event unique and did not disappoint! 👏

Using two venues is sometimes what is needed for larger wedding groups. Instead of using shuttles we made a memorable short walk through town from venue to venue being serenaded by

A ceremony at the ancient cloisters of Sorrento, followed by a procession with guests led by mandolin & guitar to the reception venue just a short walk away at

Also loved the pop of purple and natural bougainvillea for this wedding!

Our last wedding of the 2024 season was like a warm hug.

Tucked away in an exclusive buyout in Tuscany, J&B nestled in to a 3 day weekend with their closest friends and family. I love when we get to close the doors to a property and have everyone under one roof. Such special memories are made when you do this. It’s the little moments bonding over breakfast banter, walks around the property, downtime at the pool, families intermingling (often for the first time), etc. Everyone left their work, school and daily responsibilities behind to be on vacation together. Their minds and whole hearts get to shift focus on being present and celebrating two special people.
•
This is why I specialize in destination weddings and why I left the 5 hour local ballroom receptions behind. I have done hundreds and hundreds of weddings and our destination wedding clients are simply more relaxed knowing they have carved out time to be present with their often smaller guest lists (smaller than if they were to stay home). They have more fun, and are excited to share an experience with their guests. They get to skip scheduled table visits, and simply enjoy. The money spent on the “wedding” is making life long memories for everyone in attendance. I’m deeply proud of the work we do. We make dreams become reality for so many couples craving a deeper experience for their wedding. Congrats again and

Happy Wedding Planning Friday! On location dreaming in Tuscany today. So excited to put together the most amazing wedding week for our clients at this private villa and it’s delightfully enchanting grounds. Spent hours roaming around the property today. We have 1000 hectares / 2400+ acres to play with so clients will be able to host events every day for their guests in a unique area. 🤩

I live for sun, sea and sunsets. Probably because I was spoiled growing up on the west coast in the USA. Sorrento possesses the beautiful trifecta, and I’m so beyond grateful for this! ☀️ 🌊 🌅

Welcome to Lindeman Weddings & Events! We are a USA based full service wedding/event planning company and IATA certified travel agency. We have a local Seattle office that handles our events at home all year round as well as an international office that manages our destination events. Our international office manages Spring/Summer events all around Europe. We work mostly in the Greek Islands and all around Italy. During the Fall/Winter months you will often find us working with clients across Mexico and Hawaii, etc..

We are here to help with all of your destination wedding/event and group travel needs; from finding that perfect venue, managing group excursions, to coordinating every detail of your big day.
