We couldn’t have asked for a better couple or a better team. As a planner, it feels really good when wedding days flow so easily. This is mostly the case of having a relaxed couple supported by a great team of professionals. Not only is the team supporting the client; we all support each other. A strong vendor team further puts the couple at ease, so they can celebrate their day, knowing they are 100% taken care of.

We had to work though some weather calls (rain, wind, etc) and change dinner seating plans.. This effects everyone from caterer/ kitchen proximity, flowers/decor, music/av set up, etc. Everyone worked together to be so flexible. Thank you all! It turned out to be an amazing wedding weekend.

Half the fun of destination weddings are the excursions we take people on while they are in town to enjoy and explore the area. It’s a lot to organize but we love helping take this burden off the clients shoulders so they can relax and enjoy with their friends and families.

Boating days with our groups are some of the most fun! We took out 80+ people on 9 boats along the Amalfi Coast to Nerano.

Celebrating 16 years of Lindeman Weddings and Events! 🌺

What a wild ride it has been. I started my company in Seattle, WA, USA 16 years ago. I operated a full service wedding planning and floral design company for many years with local weddings until I started getting requests for destination weddings. What started in places across the USA like Hawaii, then Mexico…eventually blossomed into requests across Europe and beyond. Now we have 2 offices. Our USA office in Seattle and our European branch based in Sorrento, Italy.
•
I followed my dream to live and work in Europe and never looked back. I got my work visa (which is its own achievement as an American wanting to work and live in Europe). I eventually got my IATA travel agency certification and decided to coordinate destination weddings full time.
•
I’ve since traveled the world and coordinated weddings in so many unique places. I have met and worked along side some of the most amazing colleagues in my industry. I have immersed myself in cultures in a way that is far more fulfilling than just taking a vacation. My work became more meaningful. Not only getting couples married, but I got them and their guests traveling. So many people would not have bought that plane ticket unless it was to attend a destination wedding. Meeting all of the wedding guests over the years is such an unexpected bonus of this profession. Lastly, I am proud to bring good tourism to amazing communities. This journey has been a highlight of my life.

Thank you to all who have hired us or supported us in any way over the years. It is referrals that keep us going year after year. Even through a pandemic that destroyed it all for a little while. We have rebuilt and are ready to see where the journey takes us next! 🙏🏻

The season of white weddings continues! This was such a beautiful day. 🤍

This couple and their wedding group, heartfelt ceremony, these Positano views, Elaine’s dress complete with removable cape…and can we get a round of a applause for Cody’s suit please. 👏 His suit was in the only suitcase that was lost. It arrived within 30 minutes of being needed. Took a big web of connections to eventually track it down in the deep depths of the Napoli airport during the busiest tourist season ever. 🙏🏻

There have been odd amounts of improvising this Summer due to the crazy weather across Europe.
•
This does not only fall on the shoulders of the wedding planner, but video/photographer’s locations/time restrictions & lighting, catering shifting locations, dj/av equipment protection/modifications, florist adapting a design with short notice, transfer redirections, guest communication, etc.
•
Plan b…sometimes plan c must go into effect. In any case we are all a team and always work together to find solutions for our clients. Most(*) 😉 of us in this industry are great adapters by nature..so we work well under pressure. Destination weddings are so nice as there are usually multiple days of events to enjoy and sometimes even the flexibility to change timing of ceremony, etc which we have done a few times now.
•
The Plan A vision is risked or lost in some cases,
but at the end of the night we always have the happiest clients and guests that take away such amazing memories. We have also been super lucky with amazing brides that are so relaxed and glowing, rain or shine. Amazing how much a single attitude can change an entire feeling/outcome of an event. (See photos)

To all the brides, grooms, vendors and fellow planners out there that have had to adapt plan A, you guys are legends… but likely walked away with a good story to tell!

Grateful to work in job where there is so much JOY. It’s not always so easy but these moments make it all worth it.

There is so much planning, pressure, decisions and details running up against the clock to this very moment. The walk back down the aisle as a married couple is not only a milestone in our client’s life, but this is the moment in which I also get to express a huge sigh a relief. It’s such a massive team effort to make these weddings come true and even more so for destination weddings. Welcome to Lindeman Weddings & Events! We are a USA based full service wedding/event planning company and IATA certified travel agency. We have a local Seattle office that handles our events at home all year round as well as an international office that manages our destination events. Our international office manages Spring/Summer events all around Europe. We work mostly in the Greek Islands and all around Italy. During the Fall/Winter months you will often find us working with clients across Mexico and Hawaii, etc..
We are here to help with all of your destination wedding/event and group travel needs; from finding that perfect venue, managing group excursions, to coordinating every detail of your big day.
