When you mix sunshine and cold weather what do you get? 😁 a gorgeous wedding theme! Sunflowers remind me of sunshine and yet they go so well with this fall 🍂 theme, this wedding was gorgeous! The sunflowers were the focal flowers and the roses brought in some delicate hues while the overall theme was accentuated by darker undertones of burgundy, creating more of a chilly theme versus the typical summer vibe that sunflowers are often relegated to. Do you like these bridesmaids bouquets too?

When Rameez and Varisha contacted me for their bridal flower suite they had been through a lot, their primary plans had to shift because of unavoidable circumstances and on top of that the uncertainty of the impact of the pandemic on their hopes and plans weighed heavily on their minds. Uncertainty can be so disquieting! But these two held on to faith and hope through it all trusting that all things work together for good. And it really did... all their plans came together just in time for enough restrictions of the lockdown to be alleviated so they could get married on the day they originally dreamed of! z.baksh

When Minda contacted me about her bouquet, we were discussing the tones, elements, style and the size. She wanted a colossal bouquet, bold yet delicate that would go beautifully with their garden themed wedding. She liked the idea of an oversized crescent-shaped bouquet and I excitedly responded with, "Yes! Let's make it a total show stopper!" The results blew her away, she was still gushing over her bouquet for days after the wedding! ☺ Joy filled this florist's heart💓

Getting married during this pandemic doesn't have to be stressful or boring! We are getting creative and networking with other vendors in finding new solutions for the adjustments that are necessary for these situations.

I must admit, when a darling friend asks me to do her bridal bouquet, it is truly an honour...and when she said I could "get creative with the design" - it's an even greater honour!!
It was my absolute joy to create this for the very small wedding of my good friends.
And on a side note, I have not named my bouquets in a while, I think this one deserves a name: The Darling.
