The Student Event Committee (SEC) is the main student programming organization at Smith, hosting over 100 free events annually. Formed in Spring 2010 through the merger of the Campus Center Activities Board and Smith College Rec Council, the SEC does it all from small events to major lectures and everything in between. As a member of the SEC you will have the opportunity to participate in a great

leadership opportunity. From brainstorming ideas, calling agents, booking talent, communicating with university officials, securing venues, to watching the event actually happen, we do it all, and so can you! Although we receive guidance and support from our adviser in the OSE, SEC is a student-run, hands-on organization. You get to meet exciting people and bring events to campus that Smith students eagerly anticipate. Weekly Meetings:
