Sharing a bit about us! We are the Hulls. We got married in October of 2017, and shortly after I began what was then Hilary Hull Photography that morphed into what we are today as a husband and wife wedding photography and videography business. I started this journey as a food blogger, taking photos of recipes I created and product shots for companies. I was working a job I didn’t love, so after moving to Savannah I decided to try photographing couples to see if I liked it. It took about a year of doing free shoots for everyone I knew to build up the confidence to really start the business, but I pushed and shot my first wedding in the fall of 2018. Randy joined me shortly after and shot his first wedding film in 2019.

As the years have gone by we have grown, adjusted and adapted to create the style and way of capturing weddings that we do today. Although we don’t always book photography and videography together we have both had the opportunity to experience both. That has really helped us learn and grow to capture weddings in a unique way. In simple terms we want to capture your day as it was. There is no need to create a moment because there are so many beautiful moments on a wedding day as it is.

2024 was a pivotal year for us, not only as a family (welcoming sweet Sophie) but also as a business. We have gotten the opportunity to photograph weddings with couples we adore, but also the opportunity to practice, learn and grow in beautiful locations like Miami, Los Angeles and Paris. We can’t to serve couples in 2025 all over.

And to practice what we preach, we wanted to share some photos from our trip out to Paris from . Making it a habit to get photos taken everywhere we go has been one of our favorite traditions. And don’t forget the film rolls at the end.

We love getting to take a step back from the grind of capturing couples and weddings and take some time to recenter ourselves creatively. The best way we have found to do that is creating for the sake of creativity, in an environment where we don’t need to capture anything in particular and for anyone but ourselves. We are heading on a dream vacation and can’t wait to capture things for us. And will be sharing more next week as we explore!
