Just some memories resurfacing... Back in 2001/2002 Heincha as a member of JaffaRiga crew was hosting weekly DJ nights at now-defunct Casablanca club in the old town of (you guess it) Riga. Once, on such night, a Finnish guy Tuomas turned up, who claimed to be a producer and a DJ. We gladly shared the decks with him, and he delivered a funky-yet-punchy set of Suomi electro beats. As it turned out, he was a member of the band named Giant Robot, known for an interesting blend of dub, rock, funk, electro and whatnot. Here is one of their dub tunes with that touche français:
