Here at Squiggles & Giggles being creative and having fun is our top priority when providing a professional, tailor-made event package for you! We currently offer arts facilitation, music & movement, puppets & drama workshops across NI! Pheeeewy what a year this lot have had! (And they only came back to work in September after enjoying some downtime whilst I was on Maternity Leave!)
Since then I've packed so much in and had a really brilliant end to my 10th year of Squiggles & Giggles. ๐ŸŽ‰

The countdown really is on now for our first ever in-person Christmas Market! ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅณ

I'm so delighted to be working with a brilliant group of wonderful volunteers ( , and .ni ) and creating a fantastic, affordable family friendly event this weekend.. we would so love to see you there!

I'll be there with my hat on, as well as my (pink!) dancing boots getting ready to Squiggle & Giggle our way in to December!

I'll also have some copies of my lovely Babble the Bunny book with me and a few other surprises too - I can't wait! So make sure you come and say hello this Sunday at , Portview Trade Centre, 11-4PM.

I've had so many exciting things going on since returning to work from maternity leave that I just want to take a minute to celebrate....

SQUIGGLES & GIGGLES IS 10 YEARS OLD! ๐Ÿคฏ

Yup... 10 years ago in 2014 I started up Squiggles & Giggles and my what a ride it has been... ๐Ÿฅณโœจ๏ธ

From starting off with a few facepaint supplies and balloons entertaining at birthday parties every weekend... ๐Ÿฅณ

To getting my main pal Giggles and taking a big leap of faith (you gotta believe in yourself! - thanks to my mummy for the encouragement ๐Ÿ’–) and approaching nurseries to let me come in and offer Music & Movement classes when no-one had even heard of me (a question i get asked a alot...nope, I'm not a franchise - I'm just me!)

To running community classes, summer schemes, festivals, Christmas markets, school workshops, charity fundraisers, writing children's books, toddler takeover at Hillsborough Castle (the first ever!)... forest book launches, Messy Giggles on the beach, in the park.. online when the whole world shut down...the list goes on... Meeting so many wonderful children and their families and carers.. the staff who work in the nurseries and schools I've been invited in to... time and time again.

I feel so grateful and proud of what I've achieved in the past ten years.. TEN YEARS!!! That's a whole DECADE of Squigglin' and Gigglin'. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคฉ

Our Story

Here at Squiggles & Giggles being creative and having fun is our top priority when providing professional sessions for your settings and entertainment packages for events! The company is owned and operated by Kelsey Barr. I graduated in 2012 with a BA Hons in Drama & Theatre Arts and shortly after started working as a Playworker in a Belfast After school Club. It was there I really found my love for working with children and focusing on something that is so important in young childrenโ€™s lives - the ability to play!

In 2014, I started to offer birthday party entertainment packages with face painting and balloon modelling, and in 2015, I started to deliver Music & Movement and Drama sessions for children in local communities. Since then I have met hundreds of amazing children in various settings along with their parents, families, carers, the brilliant staff in nursery and after school clubs, charities and businesses.

In 2017, Squiggles & Giggles was voted for and awarded with Families First NI โ€˜Best New Businessโ€™. This year has been an incredible one thanks to of all my customers - I really appreciate each and every one of you for your support!

I look forward to continuing with our Squiggles & Giggles sessions and parties in 2018.
