A few snaps from our final event of 2024, which was on the autumn equinox itself this year! A fitting way to finish the summer off and prepare to slow down over the coming months with the change of seasons.

It's been another fantastic summer and we'd like to say a huge thanks to all of our hard-working crew, as well as everyone who's stepped into the cafe in the various fields we were set-up in! Big up to HowTheLightGetsIn Festival Glastonbury Festivals Noisily Festival of Music and Arts Green Gathering We Out Here Festival Shambala Festival and Equinox Festival for hosting us, and their incredible dedication to continue putting on such amazing shows every year.

It's a difficult time for our industry, and we're sad to have seen so many of the smaller independent festivals we've worked with over the years being forced to cancel or call it a day. These kind of events play a hugely important part in people's lives as well as being vital as a platform for small businesses, artists and musicians to start out and learn their trade - not to mention of course a very welcome dose of real human interaction, positivity and escapism for everyone working at or attending them too! So please continue support independent festivals and grassroots music where you can, and see you all next year :) x

A lovely analog hardware set from Payta Easton in the cafe back in July at Noisily Festival of Music and Arts this year! We've been blessed to have hosted so many amazing artists, DJs, workshop holders and impromptu performances in the cafe this year - nice to have a little break to reminisce after a very busy summer! Still one more to go though - Equinox Festival see you in a couple weeks x

Hi everyone - we’re hiring! If you'd like to join the Once In A Blue Moon Cafe Crew as an Assistant Manager at festivals and events during Summer 2024 then look no further :)

Our season runs from the end of May until the end of August this year, and we’ll be popping up at How The Light Gets In, Glastonbury, Noisily, Starry Village, Green Gathering, We Out Here and Shambala! We’re looking for someone to join our team with lots of hospitality experience, who loves the festival lifestyle and is (ideally) available for the whole season.

You would need to have your own van (MWB or larger), and be up for helping to transporting stock and equipment, assist with setting up / taking down our marquee and festival venue, and working as a cafe supervisor during busy food & drink services. We would also require you to help on select half days between festivals for Bristol-based event preparation.
