Friday the 13th has a long history of superstition and fear surrounding it. Several cultural and historical factors have contributed to its reputation as an unlucky day:

In Christianity, the number 13 is associated with the Last Supper, where Jesus dined with his 12 apostles, and Judas, who betrayed Jesus, is believed to have been the 13th guest. Additionally, Jesus was crucified on a Friday, which further cements the association of bad luck with the day and the number.

According to Norse legend, Loki, the god of mischief, was the 13th guest at a banquet in Valhalla, leading to chaos and destruction.

Various tragic events have occurred on Friday the 13th, adding to the superstition. For example, King Philip IV of France ordered the arrest of the Knights Templar on Friday, October 13, 1307. Many of these knights were later tortured and executed, cementing the date in history as a dark day.

A Haunting Love Story
“The house in the Laurel Cove section of Virginia Beach has been a hotbed of psychic activity ever since Bee and her husband moved into it in 1972, For personal, reasons soon to become evident, the woman’s full name, and the names oof others involved here have been abbreviated.
“A great range of manifestations have occurred, and still do. In fact, says Bee today, “the house is absolutely alive with ghosts. I’ve heard the sound of footfalls on the stairs. There are moaning voices, and a woman giggling. You sometimes hear someone humming. There is a distinct noise of a rustling skirt. Doors open and close with no one there. An expensive jade vase was knocked off the mantle, and pictures have fallen off the walls.”
“Bee is not alone in having experienced the occurrences. Her husband, and a number of her friends have also witnessed the spectral happenings. “Our bed has been shaken and slapped on occasion
