Dancing Rice is a humanitarian concert exploring the hopes, aspirations and challenges of disabled young people through a collaboration of talents from Singapore and Cambodia. “Dancing Rice” was conceived as a celebration about our young people of today - how they inspire us to celebrate our lives, and to connect with the humanity in each one of us. The words they say, how they engage with life, a

nd how they express themselves has formed the starting point for the script -

Beautiful dances of elegance and grace, Songs that express a call for hope, and Handwritten letters about the dreams for their future, and bursts of Music and Movements which communicate a zest for their personal worth. Through the journey of a budding friendship between a Singapore-based youth and a Cambodian youth, your friendly emcees for the evening, we warmly invite you to an evening of renewed dreams and inspirations.
