Behind the Scenes!
Do you ever step back and think about the one opportunity that seemed like the catalyst that changed everything? For me, it was having the first opportunity at opening my own boudoir studio, that set me on the path I’m on today. I had high hopes for what could come from it, and while I didn’t stick with the first studio the second one I had had been a game changer. I didn’t plan on leaving the other one so at that time I was feeling discouraged and lost. Somewhere along the way my gracious parents said hey.. so we have this extra room in the basement.. would that work?…At first I was hesitant, I finally had a studio of my own only for it to fall through with no fault of my own other than not being able to afford a 80% increase in rent less than 2 months after sighting the lease- sh*tty I know - yet here I was given this opportunity to make something for myself, no it wasn’t “the plan” but it’s been better than I could’ve imagined. I’m so glad I took them up on their offer and made a space for me and my clients. It’s better than the first studio and who knows where it can lead to next!
