Duchess silk satin is simply divine 💘 This 1950’s wedding gown would be perfect for someone petite as it has some damage to the hem and hemming would remove that problem entirely. I don’t usually list gowns with damage I can’t fix but this one is so beautiful. I think it may even be a designer label 🤔

How are we already almost in September?? 🍂Before August slips away I want to list some really special pieces including this reworked 1930’s wedding gown. Everything is authentic from the 1930’s including the new straps and beaded appliqués. It brings me so much joy to bring a gown like this back to life when it was on the brink of being trashed! This is such a cute 1950’s tea length set 💘 I’m pretty sure the buttons will need to be replaced as they are very yellowed and can’t be cleaned…and if you didn’t know this little tidbit… covered buttons cannot be washed! My very first hard lesson when cleaning vintage wedding gowns was that covered buttons will rust and turn brown if exposed to water. I’ve gotten very proficient at removing and then sewing buttons back on dresses ☺️
