About the DJ
From an early age, Kiara, nicknamed “DJ Kiki Doe”, has always been intrigued by music. From her first boombox at age 7, to her first karaoke machine at age 9, to being the go-to for mix CDs in middle school and high school, she has always taken a particular interest to discovering and exploring new music. Among her favorite genres are hip-hop, R&B, soul, funk, and dancehall. She looks forward to continuing to expand her horizons as far as music is concerned.
In college, she started DJ’ing for friends’ house parties and hosted her own NOLA bounce radio show for LSU’s KLSU national radio station in 2013. She also served as the DJ for LSU’s incoming freshman summer program the same summer, called S.T.R.I.P.E.S.
Between 2016 and 2017, DJ Kiki Doe began getting her own equipment and composing her own mixes on soundcloud and mixcloud platforms. Serving as the DJ for Power Pump Girls, Inc. events has been one of her greatest and most prized opportunities as a DJ to this day!
In 2018, DJ Kiki Doe plans on further developing her brand, and expanding her horizons as an artist DJ. Stay tuned for all that is new in store!
