I was so surprised when I saw the Olympic Rings on the Eiffel Tower last night.
My mind is blown ! Do you also believe that Paris will actually be ready to receive the Olympic Games in more than 1 month ?

I would like to talk to you about something that is really close to my heart and that very often we forget after a wedding ...

Say thank you! Yes because to say thank you to the people who have helped you after sometimes more than a year of organization and well, I find that it is a great way to conclude a great collaboration and above all an easy and free one. So do not hesitate, immediately after your wedding, to send notices to your vendors.

You need to know that your opinion matters so much, but so much that if you have been delighted by the relationship that you had, you must shout it out loud to all your contacts.

Every woman should have someone in her life to help her meet all the challenges of life. Organizing a Destination Wedding is one of those challenges and luckily, Destination Wedding Planners do exist.The advice I will give to my brides is above all to delegate as much as possible. Trusting your Destination Wedding Planner is the basis of a perfect agreement. So why not use that confidence to take some pressure off yourself and see life on the bright side?

When delegating, the pressure is at its minimum. Delegating does not mean not caring, it means that you give your prerequisites, you say what you need and you let your adorable Destination Wedding Planner do the work. She will find exactly what you are looking for and better yet, she will give you different options, you just have to choose.

When I meet my new couples for the first time, it is usually by Skype, Zoom or other virtual tool.There is this physical encounter which is surprising. Depending on the name, we imagine ourselves to be a certain person and we are delighted to be able to put a face on this name.

We talk about their story and then about my story. We know whether the magic is working or not. Yesterday, I had a phone call with a couple with whom I spent over an hour on the phone, I even forgot to go to bed (They live in San Francisco, + 9 hours behind Paris). We are all looking for that connection.

With my "ice-breaker" questions I know that these clients will become my couples. Which question would you like to ask me?

Who feels me when I say, “Last year did not go according to plan”?! Life always has a funny way of throwing unexpected twists and turns at us. What I know for sure, though, is why I got into the Destination Wedding Planning in the first place. I have a real passion for travel. I’m a person who is slightly obsessed with the urge to leave, I just can't seem to sit still. Also, I like to make people happy, it's a real nature for me. When people are unhappy or disappointed I’m upset and I do everything I can to reverse the trend.

My secret for a stress free wedding ？ 🕵️‍♀️1️⃣ Think about all the details and write down on a special wedding note book so you don't forget anything,

2️⃣ Get help from your loved ones so that everyone has a role to play on your wedding day,

3️⃣ Hire the right providers, those you can count on and not those who give you discounts (speaking of that yesterday ...).

If I’m being honest, I was terrified when I started my business 8 years ago. But I knew that there were so many possibilities waiting for me outside of my comfort zone, so I went for it! I’m so glad I did, because I’ve been able to serve amazing people like Nadège & Jean-Paul, who were afraid to leave this comfort zone by crossing the Ocean to get married in Venice in Italy. They felt reassured when I promised them to do everything to make this day the most beautiful day of their lives .

“Sabrina, before being the fairy who allowed us to live a wonderful day, it is a very beautiful meeting. She listened to us, understood our expectations, her research and her perseverance and the laughter !!! Always in a good mood, their consistency was a joy from start to finish. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Often times, people assume that the best part about being a Destination Wedding Planner must be to get to travel all around the globe or to be able to find the perfect venue all the time. While those are both true, and AMAZING perks of this job, I’d have to say that my very favorite thing is rediscovering the ways that families love one another during their finest moments.

I admit that it does not matter the beautiful venue in which I organize and I coordinate or it does not matter the beautiful country in which I am to make of your day, a perfect day, it is during your ceremonies or during the many toasts to which I was able to assist as I shed my little tear. I am an emotional person, respect and love for family are values that I advocate myself in my daily life.

This is also partly why I chose to become a ceremonial officer, since when I do, I don't cry, I am focused and professional.

I wanted to share this inside look so you know just how much I love what I do. Now tell me, Who takes up the challenge of making me cry at her wedding?

What’s the best part of what you do? When I first started my business, I thought the best part would be setting my own hours or being able to take vacations or even being able to take care of my kids as much as possible.

But today, it goes much deeper. My favorite thing about being a Destination Wedding Planner is taking the stress out of my couples.

I received a peculiar request today. A young lady who asked me if I could show up at specific times in her wedding planning only when she needed it! I thought it was a good idea after all, why not be the good fairy who comes in and turns the little mouses into footmen.
However, it is difficult then to assess my availability at these precise times or even my costs.

A real time bomb.

I preferred to explain my work to her by making her understand that planning a wedding abroad is above all a team affair. When you want a good team, you want good players and for that you have to raise the budget that is the only way.

Starting with a good base is to leave relaxed towards the unknown because anyway, the best is yet to come.

THIS is why I do what I do, by helping my couples to feel reassured and confident. What about you?

She only wanted lots of white flowers.

We followed her wishes while respecting the nature that surrounded the place of their ceremony. We obtained a natural rendering and with this slight breeze which set all the flowers and vegetation in motion, the dream.

The big plus? The sun, generously present all day at the end of May in France.

We also want some for 2023 please 🙏

I can’t say I love EVERYthing about my job, and if I’m being honest, there are some days I wish that all the hard work, late nights, and sacrifices that come with being my own boss would disappear!

But if I could pick the top three favorite things I love about being a Destination Wedding Planner, I’d pick :

My clients: The love of the couples who surround me and the confidence they place in me are criteria that make me move mountains. I will never give up even a little because I'm tired or because I've had a bad day;

Travel: is an integral part of me. I travel since I was very young when I left with my family for more than 2 days of car for the holidays ... I was 2 years old.
Today, I travel to discover and meet places and people that will make your wedding the most incredible;

My constant motivation: I like being able to help you discover new horizons by offering personalized scenarios, unusual activities and movie sets. Surpassing myself has become my mojo.

What would your three things be?
