Here at Kennolyn, our passion is helping you bring those qualities to life, to turn that representation into an unforgettable celebration.

Nestled in the scenic Santa Cruz Mountains with sweeping views of California’s central coast, Kennolyn offers an enchanting backdrop of majestic redwood forests for weddings, retreats, and special events. Your wedding will be a representation of who you are as a couple: the things that make you smile, the things you’ve learned about each other and about yourselves, and the things you want to carry

into your future together. Our private, all-inclusive venues are fully customizable to reflect you and your dream setting. Both of our venues are reserved on an exclusive-use basis, which means your event is the only one on site. There will be no hotel guests watching your ceremony from their balcony, no corporate party in the banquet room next door, no family swimming in the pool yelling, “Marco Polo!” while you’re trying to say, “I do.”

We’re still thinking about these flowers by from H + J’s June wedding! It was absolutely magical, and the flowers were nothing short of breathtaking! 🌸

From the moment you stepped into the redwoods, the soft neutral background was beautifully complemented by pops of blush, purple, and yellow blooms. The florist truly outdid herself—floral arrangements graced the bar, the Photo Booth, and of course, the gorgeous floral arch on the circular arbor that made the perfect backdrop for their vows. 💐

The head table was a vision of elegance with delicate, smaller arrangements running down the center, adding the perfect finishing touch to a perfect day.

It was an honor to witness such beauty and love surrounded by the serene, towering trees. Here’s to unforgettable moments in the redwoods! 🥂

Staff appreciation post for our incredibly talented Operations Coordinator, Miles Bundy! Miles has worn almost every hat you can at Kennolyn! He first came to Kennolyn in 2012, from Southampton, England. He started as a Cabin Counselor and continued to return summer after summer in various different roles until he moved to California permanently in 2016. He is one of a few people that have spent some time working for all of Kennolyn’s different departments (including Facilities!). He took a break from Kennolyn in 2018 to take a corporate job, but returned to working at Kennolyn in April 2022 in a full time role as our Operations Coordinator. He splits his time between our Camps and Events department dealing with all the logistics that go into keeping Kennolyn ticking. Swipe to see Miles at work (and a few blasts from the past!).

🍂 A Cozy Welcome to Our Mountain Escape 🍂

The perfect start to our wedding weekend: a warm and inviting evening in the heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains. 🌲✨

Guests arrived at Stone Creek Village, checked into their cozy cabins, and then gathered by the fireplace for a night of warmth, laughter, and delicious food. 🍷🧀

As guests settled in by the crackling fire, they shared heartfelt speeches and a tender piano performance for the couple 💕

Then, guests bundled up and made their way down to the redwood amphitheater for a campfire under the stars, where everyone roasted s’mores and made memories that will last a lifetime. 🔥🍫✨

Shout out to our incredibly talented Events Manager Andrea. She is our fearless leader who has worked in almost every possible facet of the food and beverage industry. She’s been a pastry chef, small business owner, restaurant manager, and she even baked the winning cupcake in the reality TV show Cupcake Wars!! Shout out to our incredibly talented Event Coordinators, Elyse and Dierdre! You can find them opening doors for grand entrances, driving brides on golf carts (and sometimes even having to hide brides!), running rehearsals and always making sure the couples glass is full.
