All that's needed is the leading of the Spirit of God to be right where He wants u to be... And core purpose for marriage is for God's glory... Where God provides, He leads... This Wedding was at Castle Forest Lodge, Nanyuki, Kirinyaga County... Love fills no burden, thinks nothing of trouble, attempts what's above its strength- it's therefore able to undertake all things, and it completes many of the things and warrants them to take effect, where he who doesn't love would faint and give up...

To All Men,
You are our Fathers, Husbands, Sons, Brothers, Uncles, Friends..
I apologize for times we haven't appreciated your efforts and sacrifice. Forgive us for our unending complaints.
God made man and woman to be a team. But many times we compete with you. Many times we haven't played our part. Many times we've expected u to fill voids only God can fill. Even though some of u have neglected their God given roles, still we are expected to do what God called us to do.. I pray for the day spouses will know they are not each other's enemy; but theirs an enemy they have to fight on their knees. The enemy has used his old scheme; Divide and Conquer.

Marriage/family primary goal is for God's service and enhance God's Kingdom. How moving it is for husband, wife, children and generations to serve and live for Christ..!! Husbands/ Father's you are family heads. I thank my Dad, he wasn't perfect, no one is, but he fulfilled the 5 Fold Ministry of a Husband/ Father even if some were at 80% or 30%.. I'm grateful. U were a Provider, Protector, ever had time for us(Presence), Prophet(U called out the men/women in us) and a Priest(led us in the ways of the Lord)

May God help us sisters to be those builders, encouragers, supporters, nurturers, home makers, peacemakers, prayer warriors, forgivers.. Let's call out the Kings deep in our Spouses, Sons, and Fathers..Teach us to appreciate them the more. Men should be safe with us even emotionally. Give us wisdom to be sensitive to their feelings. Let them find refuge in us. May we love more and judge less.
Thank You Lord for biological, spiritual, mentor, foster, and step men in our lives. For those men going through Spiritual, Emotional, Physical, Financial, Social and Psychological pains, Father God give them healing today. Help them to open up and know they are not alone. For those who have abandoned their loved ones or responsibilities Father, help them understand that it's not late to make things right.

A real man gets in touch with their emotions. A true woman knows how to handle those emotions instead of using it against the man..

A proverbs 31 woman is a real challenge to modern day woman.. But the Word of God stands the test of time..
Proverbs 31:13.. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
27... She watches the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.. This woman is a hardwork, but her strength is divine. Even with maid servants she wakes up while still night to provide for her family.. She sings praises to God and does not grumble while completing her tasks.. A proverbs 31 woman isn't perfect, but she lives her life with purpose, diligence, forgiveness and repentance.. She has allowed God to break her totally so she can be that Sister, Auntie, Wife, Mother, and Friend she is called to be.. And here I was, as I coordinated this wedding, my prayer as always was to find satisfaction in what I do, not to compromise my faith for anything, to always extend my hand to the needy and poor, have a great work relationships and where misunderstandings arise, to solve things with wisdom, gracefully and peacefully.. To never be lifted in pride, but to remain lowly. Teach me the deep secrets of humility Holy Spirit, and above all, give glory to my Father as it's never about me, but about what He only can do..

5..Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6.. In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.. Father we pray that you raise up a generation who seek divine ideas and divine direction for their Careers, Passions and Desires, Love life, Relationships, Leadership, Business, Friendships, Families, Giftings, Ministry/Calling, Dream, Goals, Purpose and Destiny..etc

My Father and my God raise a generation of prayer warriors, men and women, young and old who fight their battles on their knees..
Raise up a generation Jehovah who are not ashamed of the gospel. A generation of believers of all walks of life who stand In your Truth, and For Your Truth.. Raise up a generation Father of men, women and children who doesn't compromise their faith or principles just to strike deals or win people or be favoured..
A generation of men, women and children who walk in Integrity and Honesty in all their dealings... A generation Father of people who know the meaning of true and spiritual worship.. Father in your mercy and grace raise a generation of men, women and children who put you above their spouses, money, careers, families, passions and desires, children, titles, fame and worldly power.. Raise a generation Abba, Father of men, women and children who call on your name, and acknowledge you in all their ways without having you as a convenience where they can pick and drop you as it fits them.. In Jesus Mighty name we pray...Amen and Amen!!!

Vendors Bugs

If you worry that vendors might not deliver, this is the doze to go by:- 1. Have a Wedding Planner as planners make sure every goal is met.
2. Set strict time when vendors should arrive.
3. Keep constant communication with all vendors.
4. Always have a plan A, B, and C.
5. Keep contacts of those you have worked with or met through referrals as you might need them.
6. If you have no Planner have one person to coordinate everything.
7. Choose Vendors you have vetted or worked with before.
8. Ask Questions immediately incase service delivered isn't what you had agreed.
9. Always and always have a Contract that cover what happens if a Vendor fails to deliver.

Wedding planning is a Safari. The road maybe bumpy, rough, smooth, slopy or lovely. At times happy may feel like crazy. Ensuring that planning process is all sleeky and your day ends up seamless can be like a boiling pot with different recipes ready to explode.

Tips to evaluate stress levels and focus on how to reduce, manage and eliminate them:- -Read the Word of God. Pray
-Play your favourite music -Exercise like running, swimming or cycling gets your heart going and have a hugely positive impact
-Have your meals as you should for energy and strength. Hunger worsens stress and worry
-Your partner and you should rely on each other
-Focus on the marriage more than the wedding..dwell on what's getting you happy instead of what went wrong -Make sure you have enough rest
-Ensure the venue you have chosen has some emotional connection with you eg calmness, excitement, contentment, safety etc
-Adress any concerns in advance
-Avoid asking too many people for opinions -Have people you can share your worries with eg a member of the clergy, planner, therapist
-Pre-marital counselling with your partner is very crucial -Have someone you can share with and get help even on wedding day, like a planner, sibling, Maid of honour -Choose vendors who can deliver but always have a Plan B & C

Wedding Committee Bugs and Lags.. Nothing stings a bride-to-be deeper than argumentative, controlling, disruptive, negative or just not contributing committee members.

Prescription on how to deal with it:-
-Always have committee members who are relatives or close friends and are willing to participate -Have a clear constitution with ground rules for the meetings and enforce them
-Create easy, friendly environment for members to speak their minds
-Respect should be core
-Confront a conflict but don't attack an individual
-Thank members for contributions -Communication among committee members should be key
-Confidentiality should be maintained within members
-Make sure all relevant matters are discussed and decisions acted upon
-Each member should know their position -Small team is manageable
-Avoid members who are their for own interests eg networking, business opportunities, busy bodies etc
-Positive tone is advisable even when things are heated
-Focus on the mission and not an individual
-Listen to conflicting views
