ArtBeat San Diego is looking to hire (1) part time artist to help us host painting parties in San Diego County this Summer!

As a part-time, contract art teacher, you'll teach painting lessons to kids ages 5-15 at birthday parties, day camps, and Girl Scout meetings.

This is a mobile art teacher position. Shift locations will vary from south county, mid-city and North county. Because of this, applicants must have reliable transportation and are OK with a 15-20 mile commute if necessary.

Applicants must have the following:
A background in working with children as an educator, nanny, coach, camp counselor, teacher
An interest in art education
Knowledge of acrylic paint and basic painting techniques
Availability on weekends and some week days if needed
A flexible and open schedule
An upbeat, fun personality and loud speaking voice
Comfortable leading a group of 5-15 children in a guided art lesson

Applicants must provide:
A resume with recent work experience
Personal and professional references
A list of your current availability from June-September
Proof of Covid-19 vaccine
Background check may be required
