Something a little different tonight. Marinated and Pan seared steaks with chimichurri sauce, elotes 🌽 and Potato and Roasted Pablano Rajas salad. Steaks marinated in EVOO, lime juice, salt, chili and onion powder. 🌶 Chimichurri is a blend of EVOO, garlic, cilantro, parsley, salt and more herbs and spice.
Elotes aren't complete without Cotija cheese.
🥔 potato salad has hints of all spice, garlic, tarragon, 🌿 white wine vinegar 🫒 and more.
All pairs well with a nice Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot or Shiraz 🍷

Chicken Cacciatore cooking tonight - seems to be a good evening for it with temps in the 40's and dipping into the 30's tonight. Cacciatore i is dated back to the Renaissance times;14th-16th centuries. It literally translates to hunter in Italian. It is thought that it was at first made with rabbit and whatever the hunters could find. It's origin isTuscany, Italy.
