Some family sessions will always stick out in my mind for one reason or another… this one will always stay with me and make me smile. Meet Caden (11) and Greyson (5). Caden is not only kicking leukemias butt, but he is showing the world how to handle the hard stuff with the absolute best sense of humor and an award winning smile. Greyson absolutely adores his big brother and keeps up every step of the way with his own charm and whit. These adoring brothers had me in stitches from the second they introduced themselves and absolutely made my day. Funny and sweet and funny …and did I mention funny? At one point I had to put my camera down because I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard and I asked their parents if they were like this all the time, both gave an agreeable shrug and at the same time said: “Yesssss, alllllllllll day long”. The jokes and laughs didn’t stop.

My holidays certainly started off on the right foot, these two are such a gift. I’m so thankful to have met these precious young men - Everyone needs a Caden and Greyson in their life, they sure make the world a better place.

*For each session booked I am giving your little ones a gift. Angelic Sweets will be making hot chocolate bombs for your sweeties to enjoy at home after the session. Your little has a choice of hot chocolate bomb: unicorn, frozen, superhero, or classic Milk Chocolate. If you haven't had an Angelic Sweets hot chocolate bomb, you are in for a treat.

Senior portrait time is my favorite time. I absolutely love getting to spend time with seniors and hear all about their plans for the future. I have been photographing this beauty since she was small and it was such an honor to get to take her senior photos too. This lovely lady is going Ivy League and she will no doubt take any school she picks by storm.

Hot Cocoa Session GIVEAWAY!

It has been on my mind to give a session away as a thank you for for all the love and support SMP has always received. I really do have the most wonderful, kind and supportive community "in all the land", as my 4 year old would say. Because of YOU, I get to have the best career in the world, one that makes my whole heart smile. I want to make someone else's heart happy - so let's get this show on the road.

I get to deliver a gallery to another absolutely amazing couple today. The last few weddings I have had the honor of photographing have been small, intimate and stunning. I love this new trend. Everyone is relaxed and the couples have been able to enjoy the moment and time with all of their guests.

Congratulations Mr.&Mrs. Phillips! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your perfect day! I cannot wait to share more photos!

UPDATE: Today was so much fun, I’m going to do the same set up at my house on Sunday. I have some cuties booked for that morning, let me know if you want a session time as well! Thanks to everyone who shared my post today, you guys are the best! 😘

Last minute session opening this afternoon. Just did the cutest grapefruit and lemon bath session. I have everything set up and am having a blast. Want to come dunk your toddler into a tub of fruit and get precious photos right now? DM me!

I never know how many photos are too many to post after a wedding or photo session. The only thing I ever know is that when I get to be with some of my favorite people, the answer is alway: POST ‘EM ALL!

I have absolutely loved spending time with so many great kids for the student portrait sessions. I am considering opening some additional dates, let me know if you would be interested. I can't wait to share more portraits from these sessions over the next few days!
