It's crazy to think back to 2019, when with a heavy heart, I closed Friend Like Me. We were lucky to book a party every 3 months, we did so much free work because we were desperate to get our name out there, and now, after reopening in 2021, you're looking at the / 2024 Top Choice Award Winner for the Family Amusement Category 🥹

This dream of mine, to bring the magic of far away parks to Wisconsin has grown beyond what I imagined, with clients like the Bucks and Titletown, to spreading joy with DSAW and Make-a-Wish Wisconsin, and every birthday party in between, my heart is full, the magic is alive, and I couldn't be more honored to be Wisconsin's Chief Fairy Godmother.

It's time for another Tip Tuesday!

This week, we're talking about timing!

A lot of our clients initially think that the character should be there right at the start of the party, but that can leave room for kids missing out on things, awkward arrivals, or interruptions to activities. Once we're on site, the countdown begins, and we must leave at our agreed upon time as we're usually double or sometimes even triple booked on any given day (looking at you 😒 February 10th).

Giving you and your guests time to get settled into the party, give all the hugs and hellos, allows for our arrival to be extra special, and kick off our magical time together!

If you ever have questions, don't hesitate to ask! ✨️

Let's walk through the new booking site together!

Step 1: Put in your email address and name so we know who we're talking to when it comes time to book your party!

Step 2: Choose the main character type for your event! Want a mix? That's ok! You can add friends later!

Step 3: Pick the amount of time you'd like our visit to be! Notice - there is no 30 minute package for our Face Characters anymore! Unless you're having a party within 10 miles of 53221 or 53704, this option is no longer available. Sorry!

Step 4: Add your character(s)! You'll find that within each category we have the main type of character (i.e. princesses) displayed as the "additional" characters, but once you scroll down you'll find "Non-Princess/Hero/Mascot addition" as well as "Add-ons" like glitter tattoos available for you to add to your package!

Step 5: Where and when is this rad party happening? Give us all the deets so we can let you know asap if we can make this happen! It even has an option for alternative dates!

And that's it!! It's a much smoother process that will show you the price as you build and let you customize it before we ever see it in our inbox!

As a reminder we do book 3 months out at a time so get those requests in asap!
