I miss this energy and I hope that we can get back to it in the future. This was at White River circa 2002 or 3 w the crew (then WNOU 93.1). I was Opening up our summer jam. Catch me in the today at Noon, and at 7pm I’ll be hosting w Dj Gabby Love then back on the decks 10-Midnite. It’s been a helluva run and I’m so grateful to have radio 📻 as an outlet for my creative side. Keep listening!!!

this is Samuel Mcquilken Ashwood born in October 1918 and died November 1968. This is my Mother’s Dad and he was in the army where he used his voice to sing to the troops when they found out he had pipes. Samuel also attended Temple where he played football. He met my Grandma, Ruth Margaret Rollen in Joplin MO while in the service & they married. This was a great opportunity to look a little into my family tree as He had passed before I was born. I just want to share this and thank all of the veterans out there that have served this proud nation. No matter what your role, you’re valued and appreciated by us civilians!

Quick trip to for some mom time. Needed to recharge before this coming season. Wish I could stay longer and there’s nothing like home even if it’s in another state now. Mom and James have created a wooded wonderland which is the perfect environment to recharge! Gracey is sweet as ever and we got some dog time in as well. Thanks Mom for everything you do.

You are the reason that I’ve become every dogs dad and I love you like you love naps... your work In the community does not go unnoticed, from your trips to the senior center to the mascot gig and even your dj side hustle... massive ✊🏿! My backyard gate is always open for your potty breaks and u got an awesome mom! I hope you enjoyed your day today. 🐶
